Been impressed with the keeper's distribution. Hope she's OK.

She was an outfield player all through her development and it shows.

Maybe there's hope for Capn Jack, yet.

Think she took a blow to the twat a minute ago.

Sounds like an Alan Partridge commentary line

Some very tired legs out there now.

Bet they can’t wait to get back to just doing the housework.

Another half an hour of this and England players will be shagged out. They're already knackered. Spain look like they have an extra gear.

Think Bronze is the only one showing any weariness personally.

Dunno - Spain look to have lost their sustained pressure edge.

We just need a bit more composure when we gain possession to get into the final third. When we do, we look capable of scoring.

Not sure if we've got anyone left on the bench who can make an impact?

I will say that Carter got better as the game went on.

Still two more subs right? Not sure i can watch another penalty shoot out.

I think you get an extra one if it goes to ET.

Depends what you mean by impact. With Mead, Agyemang and Kelly on we have our three biggest goal threats on the pitch already.

Grace Clinton would give us fresh legs and composed passing in midfield.

Beever-Jones would give us an extra aerial threat up front, she is a decent goalscorer but kind of doubles up in terms of role with Agyemang.

A little surprised Russo went off so early. Agyemang goes near post a lot, while Russo was offering a central target. Not to mention her single woman press, that brought the others up, and changed the game.

England showed they could win this, despite Spain's possession and passing. When England had the space after they'd pushed Spain back, they put together some good moves of their own.

I say, get Beever out.

Definitely. Can't keep hold of the ball anymore. Should have given them both a go together for ten mins.

Standard of officiating is utterly abysmal in the women's game. Holding it back for sure.

Dunno about that. I think she's been fine. Hasn't got any big decisions wrong and plenty of male refs give soft free kicks for that sort of thing.

Isn't this the first women's game you've ever watched? It's been worse than this all tournament. This one's actually done quite well by comparison.

She's favoured Spain the whole game.

Fair point. I am going off a sample of one.

Definitely should have left Russo on, but also the midfield is knackered and can't seem to get up the pitch at all.

Agree. Stanway must have covered a lot of ground. Definitely need to add some fem fresh.

This ref has officiated loads of men’s Ligue 1 as well as Champions League and World Cup games.

She's still been utterly awful. Strange that women's referees work in the men's game, but we don't have male referees at this tournament.

Case and point, gives a foul there by Charles when she was being dragged to the floor and it should have been a penalty.

The standard of attack is just appalling

Russell Martin: "What is this 'attack' you speak of?"
