I still finding it amusing that doing literally what every club does with women’s is considered to be misogynistic, belittling the women’s game and dinosaurs on here 😂

I also called you a misogynist on this point because you suggested the womens team have to "earn" playing at a proper stadium as if being the clubs womens team isn't enough merit to play at the clubs home stadium. Other clubs decisions and reasoning isn't really relevant is it? Maybe it's right for them. Southampton have made a different decision and whilst there's a vaguely interesting conversation to be had on the decision and the reasoning behind it, and started to be had, it didn't really last long before you and others had to just make some misogynistic, and belittling digs did it? That's why people get called out for it. 2
Turkish Posted November 21 Author Posted November 21 (edited) International week and the equal pay brigade are out in force again they’re all representing England so why aren’t they paid the same? no boasting about the amazing attendances this weekend though as only two games in the super league got crowds of over 5k which is the reason the answer to the first question Edited November 21 by Turkish 4

Dr Who? Posted Sunday at 17:36 Posted Sunday at 17:36 Moved from Southampton to Royston in 2006. It is where my wife grew up. Went to Garden Walk many times to watch the Crows. They have a great set up, but the men’s team are struggling this season. My boy is from there and looks out for their results, and has a Royston Town top. 4

That’s fucking over payment. My lad gets £60 a game in the Wessex league and they’d beat most chick teams. The standard involved, they’re lucky they’re not charged subs… 1

The lessers could probably get jobs in diversity and inclusion to supplement their income, that’s the gravy train to be on at the moment with jobs in government paying £70-£80k. Being public sector they’ll get Flex Time and do fuck all so won’t interrupt with their training. Or they can go into teaching if they want a part time job

Would imagine that's heavily subsidised. Paid on attendance they'd be be presented with a substantial bill each month for venue and services.

Not a bad shout, however, it assumes that they are graduates and have done a PGCE. The other routes in like Teach First are maybe not as compatible with a football career. Either way gaining school experience is extremely time consuming and would almost certainly impact football obligations negatively, as would school commitments, preparation, marking, meetings, parents evenings etc. On the plus side they'd be great role models for particularly the girls 1

Know most of our players are on equal to or above the UK average salary but they need to make a long term choice of if they can build a more profitable career in another sector. Personally don’t see that as an issue when most of us have had to make tough career choices of what we enjoy against what can make us the most money. 2

There’s a lack of teachers at the moment so sure they could find away, even if they just did PE in Schools quite a few towns out source that to lower league football clubs and all you need are a few sports qualifications. Or there football clubs and private academies are screaming out for coaches. They could become PTs like my mate does who played northern league, similar level, he never moans about Harry Kane earning more than him.
AlexLaw76 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Why is Damion Downs not paid as much as Erling Harland...? I think we all know why, all thanks for Reform Trump and Robinson. 2
East Kent Saint Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Well having been banned from playing football for so long the woman's game has alot of catching up to do before it gets anywhere near the men's game . There is a feeling that the men's game has been taken over by money , the love of money , corruption , poor leadership by FIFA , a disconnection from fans and what fans thought was their club , too many games due to expanding competitions , etc. Back in the 60's the men's game didn't mean you were set up for life financially so probably where the womens game is at the momment .
