Someone in the media needs to ask questions like these. Yes I agree but I do not think they are imprudent they are questions which are being asked on this forum in one way or another. All I mean is that Monday's press conference has been called to discuss the JP/Wotte situation. It hasn't been called as a response to the very valid questions being posed on here. I'm no journo but I think there is a certain amount of playing by the rules of the game on these things. I suppose the questions could be phrased to keep them within the set parameters, ie: "What role did Kim van der Waal play in the resignation of JP and the appointment of Wotte?" Are the three major shareholders willing to take this club into administration because they can't set aside their egos and personal differences? This question is bang on in my opinion. Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend can't stand each other, but get together as The Who, recording and touring because the the group is more important than the individuals. Likewise Pink Floyd played Live 8 yet Roger Waters can't stand Dave Gilmour, but they worked together to put on a fantastic show. The 3 amigos don't have to like each other, just respect each other and realise that individually they are taking the club to new depths, maybe together new heights? Is that a bit naive of me?

saintjay77 Posted 25 January, 2009 Share Posted 25 January, 2009 (edited) My first one would be So, does JP's departure herald the end of the Dutch "total football" plan? This question has already been answered, the club want continuety and in that I believe they mean they wish to carry on with this system they believe in. It hasnt worked so far with points on the board but "they" believe it will and will carry on. My second Why was one minute JP talking about redoubling his future efforts only to walk out a day later. Looks to me that he takes allot of what we the fans say to heart and given a few days to reflect on the result and probably listen to some of the feelings of the fans (I am guessing he has access to this site or at least another medium to guage what the fans are saying) The general consensus was that he wasnt good enough and that he had failed. fair play to him for not wanting to stick around when its all falling apart. My third Does JP's departure have anything to do with this mystery advisor and when is he going to be introduced officially. If this adviser is such a mystery are we sure he exists? Most of the board will probably speak to there wifes and partners when they get home each night, are they also mystery advisors? do we need to know all about them too? My fourth Are you sure Mr Wotte has the full respect of all the players and staff Silly question IMO and one that is made just to cause a bit of a sn1gger among anyone who is looking for negitives more than positives. There have been plenty of managers in the past for many teams that dont have the respect of there players yet they still get the job done. Its not the managers job to be pals with the players and maybe a different feeling will have a positive effect on the team? Cant say I am thrilled about Wotte to be honest but I am at least ready to give the guy a chance before I wright him off. My fifth Why is David Hockaday on garden leave I dont think many people would be too chuffed to get put on garden leave let alone there employers giving the details to the local rag so another pointless question IMO I am sure there are plenty of others - just hope the Echo has the cojones to ask them. Just trying to play devils advocet a little above. Im sure there are loads of questions we would all like answers too but putting them up as a serious thread from someone who usually gets a fair bit of respect on here doesnt IMO do any one any favours. I dont get what part of SFC being in the Pooh people dont get? If the others involved at the club had a better way forward they would dump Rupes on his arse and do what they can. The fact that Rupes is still with us says to me that there isnt much other option right now. Edited 25 January, 2009 by saintjay77

It displays Lowe intent on whether he wishes to do the best thing for the Club or perhaps intends to buy up the Club at a snip of a price once administration is called in order to continue running this club into the deck.
