Stripey McStripe Shirt Posted Sunday at 21:01 Posted Sunday at 21:01 Actually, just their version of the Charity Shield I think. Still, seems a nonsense being played out there.

Not going to be long before the FA Cup / Carabao cup final is over there too I reckon. They can’t wait to find an excuse for that can they. 1 hour ago, Stripey McStripe Shirt said: Actually, just their version of the Charity Shield I think. Especially if they fear La Liga are gaining an advantage by playing fixtures out of Spain.

Honestly surprised the Premier League / FA haven't already used this as an excuse to get things played abroad. Shame really as would have been interesting to see what huge crowds Crystal Palace would have attracted this season.

Willo of Whiteley Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I’ve said for several years Manchester United are now a mid table team. My wife and her family (all MU) get frustrated when they lose to Brighton or draw with Wolves or Fulham - I keep saying until fans, players and pundits accept that this is their level now, nothing will change. But every season we get the same old tripe about how they’ll be better, “this could be their season” - I’m sorry, they’ve been shit for years. Maybe they should give as much airtime to some other mid table clubs rather than Man United’s “disappointing season” AGAIN. So boring.

And they'll still end up finishing 12th or something. They have recruited poorly for a while. But like Saints, it's not like they haven't had the money to spend, it's just been poor and on too many players. 2

They have similarities to us, although on a massively different scale, both clubs have been very badly managed over quite a long period, both clubs operate a controlling influence over the playing side, both have horrendously messed up with buying duds. Like it or not, Man Utd are a huge club globally who are massively underperforming. We are (were) a very well established premier league side who are looking to become a well established championship side, if we can win a few games here and there. 2
