Yeah, it's just that line that "I can say there are no more allegations" in response to a direct question about whether we broke the spying rules more than 3 times kind of implies to me he knows that we did but it just hasn't been alleged to this point! Would have been better to avoid the question altogether on the basis investigation is still in progress in my opinion.

I would be amazed if we were not doing more often. To suggest we spied in December then nothing until Ipswich came to SMS is for the birds

Blackmore did his usual thing of talking too much but thought last night was a tad more interesting than previous editions. Weird thing is he was asking questions which he'd normally ask in a pre match presser like "Tonda how ready are we for Colchester" which is a complete waste of time.

Can't believe some melt actually asked if we'd spied on more than 3 occasions as if we're going to admit that and open ourselves up to more points deductions. Absolute whopper.

The stripes question was funny too. Especially the length of time it took to actually ask it.

Of course there wasn't, he wouldn't want to tell an outright lie incase it comes up in future. No fan of half term Phil but the politician style answer was all he could really do there.

You'd have to be seriously thick to think those were the only 3 games we did it.

How many times have you had one too much to drink and you think you have something really important to say but comes out as nonsense? That's what that question sounded like...and of course the panel love those sort of questions because they can take an age answering them rather than answer the more pointed questions.

Really important that these are taken away a one hour slot on the radio. Or at the very least it has an extended ‘after hours’ session afterwards. Blackmore very annoying but just a symptom of being confined to the live hour broadcast and trying to get through it without having awkwardness on air. 

Funny the kit question got criticised…it was the only one that seemed to bring about any pushback from the fan 😂

I thought it was a much more interesting forum than usual. Most of the questions and responses were detailed. The 2 absolute waster ones for me was the absolute dinlow who asked about how the players are going to earn the fan's forgiveness (seriously? ), and then the one where they asked Parsons if he'd like to fess up to any more rule breaks.

I also agree. the length of time we had to wait for him to ask about square backs on shirts... how? 😄 selfishly i was hoping he was going to ask about future inclusions of navy trim, or at least whether the club look at the popular fan mock ups etc..

Thinking back on it today, one of the more interesting takes was that Parsons in effect openly accused Middlesbrough or being disingenuous and playing a game over the whole spygate incident to try and trick their way to Wembley, as well as accusing the EFL of being disingenuous. Not sure that was particularly well advised given we're still not out of trouble yet with the FA and it shows the opposite of contrition by the club.

To be honest what do people expect? There really aren’t many questions worth asking that the club can give a full and honest answer on. Kind of rules out spygate, transfers, confidential negotiations /plans. Maybe spors giving a 1 hour presentation on his role, objectives and behind the scenes set up would be more informative and interesting than a bunch of low IQ fans gibbering on about kits, discounts and what ever other nonsense seems to upset them at the time of asking. 

The only response to discount bloke telling us he has been unemployed for 7 months should be “no shit”.

They were specifically asked if we would be keeping the core players (a couple of names were mentioned)... Spors was at great pains to give a politicians answer without promising they won't be sold - so the only take away you can make from that is that at least one more core player will likely be sold if the right offer comes in. Similarly, other than the striker position, he said that we were happy with the squad, accept for any replacements we need to make for players that leave... so i think there is a reasonable chance of losing another matchday squad player 🤷‍♂️ 

Also made it very clear that we'll see significant numbers of (squad bloat) exits in the coming weeks...

Definitely spied on Pompey, as did probably half the league as it so easy, and they seem to be aware of that after Mousinho’s comments in the week. 
Millwall again is another one that’s easy to spy on without raising any suspicion. Just need to park up and sit on the road alongside their training ground and you can see everything. 
 

So that’s another 2 to add to the list of clubs we probably spied on and couldn’t beat.

As far as i can work out, if a member of the public decides to rock up at Middlesbrough's training ground every week, and live-streams their "restricted" training sessions online for anyone to watch, there is absolutely nothing the league can do about it. Would get their fans absolutely frothing at the mouth as well.
