I'd like to have heard more about specific players (THB, Scienza and Jander) and the likelihood of them leaving but I expect they wouldn't answer it properly anyway.

Absolutely nothing of note in there. I get the frustrations about Spygate but I'm surprised anyone going tonight thought there was any more information to gain. Wasted 30 minutes on that and then there were a few absolute howlers in the second half as well.

One of the only chances for fans to vent in a calm and directly challenging manner to those in power. To get them squirming. Instead we ask about individual players, kits, food around the stadium, the colour of the matchday programme seller's nails.

Tonda is talented if flawed. Spors has the provenance and has earned some goodwill. What is Parsons? 

I don't expect to see a CEO getting his hands dirty, but equally see very little evidence in his ability to get the best out of (or inspire) others.

Thought that was one of the better fans forums from recent year. Lots of questions and most were sensible. Parsons took a bit of a hammering early on but managed to generate the biggest cheer of the night towards the end with his comments about not caring that we are the club others hate and the fact that we've developed this siege mentality.

Tonda spoke about the players being in fantastic shape so let's hope we see this on the pitch starting on Saturday.

All in all I felt there were good vibes generated at the forum tonight.

I think the Braggy comment is referencing what the Crawley manager said when he was on loan there, not Will Still.

He seems to start every other sentence with: "we're not going to get everything right"... Realistic? Maybe, but hardly inspirational... I know Cortese had more flaws than a 100 storey office block (floors/flaws... Geddit...? ) but at least his attitude was always: "we're going to get everything right, even the f**king mattresses on away trips"

I wondered as THB was being listed as one of our main leaders for the season on the pitch, does that mean we expect him to stay?

There was a question about the media frenzy created by Boro, and lack of response. Parsons went on about the legal side of things, but really, if the club had the right PR people, they could have easily pushed back against some of Boro's activity without impacting anything from a legal perspective.

For example, they could have highlighted the leaking of the photo of the spy and the illegal access to his personal information. It didn't happen because the club doesn't have someone clued up in that area, and Jordan Sibley just isn't up to the job.

Last summer we went out and signed two of the League's better players with aspirations that we would give autos a serious go, this season we also have aspirations of autos too, so I wouldn't be surprised if we were targeting the League's better players again. We have a good squad, we have some money compared to others... that's what I'm clinging to when it comes to players like Vipotnik.

THB/Scienza/Jander - we can say no, they're under contract. Unless they go on strike or kick up a stink, they are our players. The tester will be when bids start coming in for them and seeing how we react. Money talks.

I think you're right. It's not what they say at these forums because they're going to give nothing away, it's more the vibes and feel you get from these meetings and I also felt the mood is very positive.

Tonda and Spors come across as very genuine. Parsons though, is more of a spiv.

If it was Rob Elliott who said it, then ironically he’s now managing in the National League!

Could've been Scott Lindsey who managed him first before being sacked, later re-hired and now at York.

Maybe, but I think Spors might think twice about that if, hypothetically, Leo, Jander, THB, Downes and Azaz all came out together tomorrow and said they wanted to leave, this close to the season where we will want to go for promotion.

I agree. I think the players will have been told that the club are wanting to go one step further than last season and what better way to show they are serious than bringing in a proven goalscorer? Let's hope it happens!

Totally agree. We were hopelessly out manoeuvred by the Borough media circus and when you see Parsons on a panel for an hour you can see why. Utterly inspirational

My impression was that Spors was specifically talking about 100% commitment to the club after spygate and Stewart was pretty much the only player who wouldn't give it.

I think the general stance on players is that they stay unless we receive substantial offers that meet the club's valuation.

Exactly what I thought of the session. I thought Tonda came over very well with insight into player selection, players model with amount of minutes and role in team. I've definitely underestimated his input and affect on games. 

Looks like FFP could be an issue if club doesn't manage percentage of revenue spent on wages which was mentioned twice.

The club everyone hates comment went fown with a huge cheer. All in all if it was a PR exercise it did the job jn the room.
