There’s a decent show on Prime at the moment, it’s about a hitman with early stages dementia (not a great career if you keep forgetting things) . Can’t remember what it’s called, but it’s well worth a viewing.

I see what you did there. Good work.

I'll give it a go. If I remember.

I went onto Prime to watch and completely forgot what I’d gone onto there for

Not one for all time but a very good one is Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime.

Four seasons, excellent cast and now a film is being made. Deserves more credit than it’s got.

I’m on the amazon preview club thing and watched the film about 6 weeks ago. Thankfully they paid me a tenner for it cos, honestly, it was a bit shit. I enjoyed the previous series but the film was terribly cliche ridden, plot was all over the place and it felt a bit cheap. All subjective but I wasn’t impressed.

Watched it now.

Good series, 6/10 max for the movie is all I’d give.

Decent watch but not something you’d be going back to like the original Jack Ryan films.

Yeah, I keep meaning to go back and watch it again to see whether they changed anything.  I remember getting a bit annoyed with James Greer character who seemed to spend most of his time talking in melodramatic cliches.  The film seemed a bit under developed and fairly generic as far as those types of films go and certainly found the TV series far more entertaining.

Two of my favourites were Yellowstone & Clarksons farm and we’ve had a new series & spin offs this summer.

Clarksons farm, not quite as good as other series”. They haven’t jumped the shark yet, but it’s getting closer. The Kaleb is a bit of a thick bumpkin is wearing a bit thin, and there’s not enough of Gerald. More of his Mrs, which is welcome, but it’s still not quite as good as previously.

Dutton Ranch is great though, certainly better than the ridiculous woke Marshals. RIP is such a great character and you can never have enough Kelly Reilly. Young bird and even a Gilf, cowboy punch ups, and decent story line. Very enjoyable….

I loved Yellowstone and Dutton Ranch, but couldn't get on with Marshals. The Madison was a variation on the theme, and enjoyable. Landman was excellent too, Billy Bob Thornton typically brilliant, and as for Ali Larter.

Clarksons farm hasn't lost any appeal for me. I like Clarkson a lot. I reckon Kaleb is almost as dense as he comes across, and I hope the kid is getting a decent cut of the fee, he's a huge part of the show.

Yellowstone got really stupid I thought. I really liked 1883, think 1923 was ok but Taylor Sheridan writing the sadistic violence for Timothy Dalton character seem gratuitous.

It definitely tailed off. I haven't watched 1883/1923 yet, but it's on the list. Taylor Sheridan stuff is decent mostly.
