Except that Fulham is in west London and is north of the river. Also, Fulham isn't "virtually in Chelsea" but Chelsea FC is actually, rather than virtually, in Fulham. Are you American by any chance?
Barton Saint Posted Tuesday at 21:38 Posted Tuesday at 21:38 No! Hampshire born and bred who spent many years working in Greater London…anyway the original point was trying to draw some correlation with 1976 so if we end up playing Man City in the Final then it truly would be ironic
Saint Fan CaM Posted Wednesday at 01:57 Posted Wednesday at 01:57 We’d be coming up against a Prem team sooner or later, so may as well go out now. Fulham will be too much for even our best team I’m afraid - could even be quite a demoralising experience for some of our players. Having said that, an upset in our favour could be incredibly positive too, so hopefully our team will be right up for it. 1
Chez Posted Wednesday at 08:17 Posted Wednesday at 08:17 They don't tend to lose to lower league teams in the fa cup very often. Oldham about 7 years ago stands out.

We did pretty well against Liverpool earlier in the season, any they only just scraped past Stoke in the last round. They should win but we have a chance. 1
Kenilworthy1959 Posted Wednesday at 14:28 Posted Wednesday at 14:28 If we get through we are set for a major fixture pile-up as the 6th round is at the Easter weekend. So Wrexham away and Ipswich home will need to be rearranged along with the Norwich game. Its almost as if it was assumed that Championship teams wouldn't make it that far.

Charlie Wayman Posted Wednesday at 18:32 Posted Wednesday at 18:32 Very winnable and a good test of our progress and where we are. 1 1

I'd go further and say Championship clubs are encouraged not to make it that far. 1
SouSaint Posted yesterday at 13:44 Posted yesterday at 13:44 Sunday, live on TNT. Absolutely shite. 2

warsash saint Posted yesterday at 13:51 Posted yesterday at 13:51 Look at all all the various KO times & they wonder why the FA Cup has lost it's magic! 4
Pamplemousse Posted yesterday at 14:22 Posted yesterday at 14:22 Engineering works in Winchester that weekend as well for anyone getting the train up. I reckon we should still easily take 4000 plus.

suewhistle Posted yesterday at 14:47 Posted yesterday at 14:47 I'm over that way so would normally go up to Victoria except there are works on the Sunday (but not on the Saturday). Having to go via Waterloo they rush you another £10, or £17 if you get a travel card, due to the fragmented nature of our railway system, plus a potentially longer wait at Havant. Losing my enthusiasm now..
Toussaint Posted yesterday at 17:58 Posted yesterday at 17:58 Another soul sucking Sunday noon kickoff, this would have been a fantastic Saturday afternoon. Now, not so much 3
Mboto Gorge Posted yesterday at 18:20 Posted yesterday at 18:20 So none of the 5th round ties are at 3pm on a Saturday. An absolute fucking joke. And TNT fucking sports can do one too, expensive enough paying for other sports channels. What a bunch of cunts 2

Chris cooper Posted yesterday at 21:28 Posted yesterday at 21:28 Fucking lunchtime on a Sunday !! Fuck off

We'll still take a lot but quite likely it will make members/ general sale I think, they seem to mess around with allocations at Fulham but I'm sure we had 5k+ in the 3rd round a few years ago

Turkish Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago 14 hours ago, Chris cooper said: Fucking lunchtime on a Sunday !! Fuck off Great time for a football match! Lazy sunday morning getting up around 10am, pop to the local for a full english, back in time to slip on my Saints shirt, turn on the TV and login into Saintsweb to spend 90 minutes moaning about how shit we are. Finished by 2pm to enable enough time to attend the Beer tasting afternoon at our local delicatessen. I applaud the FA for making this fixture at a time that suits the TV audience, the fans that matter. 1

LGTL Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Fuck me 12pm on a Sunday was bad enough for the Derby. They can fuck off.
Noodles34 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago For those paying sky or tnt, have a head wobble, either cancel or don’t fucking moan. Better still, get an IPTV sub for about 60 quid a year. If anything fucks em, that is it.
TheAlehouseBrawlers Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago £30 for home fans behind the goal so should be same for us. Putney End (Saints end) not on sale to home fans so looks like we've got all that stand if needed. Shame about the Sunday 12:00 KO.
