Fair point. I would counter though that plenty of coaches get sacked but go on to do well elsewhere. Cooper has previous experience of the league and some proven credentials. I’m not lobbying for him in particular I just recall seeing he was available and he is someone we have been linked with in the past. I don’t recall him being wedded to a specific formation but I can’t guarantee the quality of my memory 😅

I expect unless it’s a massive ban it will be Garner and/or Lallana. If it’s a long ban much harder to say.

I like Ralph and have very fond memories but he was a bit of an ideologue and I don’t see our squad being well suited to his preferred playing style.

If it’s a ban of any kind it’ll be Lallana stepping up for the interim, unless it means Eckhert getting the sack which I’d be very surprised to see happen given the support already shown by the club. Still reckon it’ll be a 3 month touchline ban.

I guess that would depend on what TE is found guilty of. If the panel rule that he is responsible for creating a toxic culture where analysts are unduly coerced into deliberate rule-breaking activities then they will have no choice but to sack him.

And without jumping the gun here, IF that turns out to be the case then it will reflect very badly on the club that they didn't investigate internally and take action sooner. Especially in light of the offer in the public statement at the time to work with the FA / EFL and create a task force to eliminate such activity from the game.

Nobody knows , I dont think even the FA are sure what to do with lack of precedent for them to use

No point FA setting a harsh punishment as a precedent as this is never going to happen again. No club will be as stupid as Saints to try to get away with it.

Apart from the person who reckoned they knew and got all upset when some questioned them.

If the FA have made a decision they'll announce it. They won't wait to see what we'll do appeal wise.
