Can only hope that one of their yellows turns into a red and that they run out of puff. Just as long as the deficit isn't too big before then.

Shit all round really, just don't look like they expected Preston to try and attack or challenge them and have no idea what to do.

This team has had a problem with complacency since the start of the season.

Well we should of had a FK in JWP territory and their CB should have had his second yellow. Full bottle from the ref there.

They cannot maintain their pressing and will become nervy given their form in my opinion. The game is still there to be won

Might be time to start looking at a 4-3-3 so we can get an extra man in midfield, because we’re getting overrun in there for the second game running and this lot are meant to be crap

Don’t know if it’s complacency, they’re a bit too keen on the Martinball, strange considering there are few players left from his time at SFC.

Second half we are either behind or drawing and they pull their finger out in moving the ball a lot faster and offering runners to whoever is in possession.

Keep the faith, gonna win this 2-1.

Yeah I think we’ll come back into this. Another chalk and cheese performance like against Brom this time with a better outcome. Please……

Second game running our central midfield aren’t getting control of the game defensively, far too easy to play through. Dobbin has offered nothing & Leo has been pretty average. This is unacceptable, especially after the woeful first half Tuesday.

Too many flat track bullies, looking good when the going is good at our lovely home pitch, but don’t want to know when we need to get down amongst the much and bullets.

They’ll run out of gas and we’ll probably pick up enough to pinch it, but that will only gloss over the fundamental issue, we let sides out battle and out work us for periods of games, and that’s fucking disgraceful.

Bragg for Downes you think?

We always score a hat full when Bragg & JWP play together 😁

Well that was a mess and a half...
No obvious changes or subs - shows we're 2 or 3 players light to push for automatic (irrespective of injuries).
Tonda has shown he can get us playing well for the past year... let's hope for a blinding second half

Hard disagree. They are bottom of the table, fighting for their lives and at home. Of course we will have expected them to press us hard and play with intensity. It just looks to me that it was always the plan to let them do that and burn themselves out. We've done this so many times under Tonda.

It's not like they have been carving us open at will - we coped largely with everything they threw at us and the goal was just a good finish from the edge of the box.

Some people just seem to be never happy unless we are going full tilt for the full 90 minutes and tearing into the opposition.

We only play well one half so you could be right
