Oi Oi Saints......Claret here.

Firstly i cant believe all the sh!te been spewed up about what happened after the final whistle so i will put a few of you in the picture.

Firstly.......the soft ass needle d!cked t0sser who threw the smoke bomb was in fact a Pompey Twunt.

When he threw it towards the idiots on the pitch my mate who was behind him pushed him forward & shouted "are you stupid,we are here to enjoy ourselves you stupid ***T,call yourself a Claret you f'kin d!ck head....To which he turned around with a shocked look on his face and started to unzip his black leather jacket to reveal a Portsmouth top while saying i am not a claret.....As soon as this happened a Burnley fan smacked him full in the face knocking 2 of his teeth out then he was dragged downstairs & thrown @ the feet of a bewildered confused looking steward who was then told "Look @ his f'kin shirt and then ask why"......He was thrown out of the ground (i think cos we never saw him again)........I picked up one of his teeth and put it in my pocket.....I still have it & it is available to any saints fan when i put it on e-Bay .....In my opinion if it wasnt for the pompey puffters hiding behind us clarets in the away end the saints would have protested against the board of directors & notinfront of us burnley fans.....Another pompey fan was leathered by 2 clarets as he was leaving the ground......1 of them was a woman who kicked him in the ****** so it just shows how tough your pompey neighbours are (NOT) when a 6ft supporter gets a kickin from a 50 something aged guy & his smaller wife........ .......

Anyway too all the true fans of Southampton good luck for the future & look out for the Pompey Pussies tooth on e-bay.

The way everyone has been going on about the bottles, smoke bombs and coins being thrown at the Burnley fans was way off the mark!

I have to admit I went onto the pitch more in getting out of the way of the hordes pushing from behind.....!! In fact there were three smoke bombs and had to avoid being hit twice by drinks bottles.

I had quite a long conversation with two police who had there batons ready and told them to do something about the missles raining down on us, to be told.....

"Well if you lot weren't on the pitch they wouldn't throw them at you would they"!!

What a bizzare response!!

Wasn't until one of the coppers got hit....did they then push everyone back!

This story could well be true. A Charlton mate of mine was punched in the away end by a Pompey fan at our match the other day. Basically the same sort of thing happened, a bloke and a woman were f ing and blinding and causing trouble my mates old man asked them to calm down, and she went mental at him so my mate stepped in to protect his Dad and took a hit for his troubles and then found out the were Pompey fans there to cause trouble.

I suppose this is considered a date in Pompey?

The crowd pushing you from behind managed to steer you all the way across the pitch right in front of the away fans ? Seems rather unlikely.

There was one smoke bomb, it was thrown back and forth a number of times, like the big metallic-looking sphere (of which I think there were two). I left the Northam a few minutes after the police cordon pushed the people on the pitch back about 6 yards and at that point it had been thrown 4 times in total and was back in amongst the Burnley fans again.

And the police officer was right, if you weren't on the pitch, in fact, if you weren't on the pitch AND standing directly in front of the away fans, you weren't going to get hit by the missiles. There were plenty of people who were on the pitch nowhere near the away fans that managed to stay well away from all the trouble.

There were all ages on the pitch, woman and children.....too!

I just passed on an observation to a copper....maybe I am wrong but I didn't think you were aloud to chuck all sorts of items in a stadium and especially at opposing fans!

Amazing how you kept track of that 'ONE' smoke bomb....and how the hell could you tell what colour/shape it was from your seat in the Northam!! LOL

You sure you weren't on the pitch.....or you have bl##dy good eysight!

We could see there were more than one Pompey fans in the Burnley crowd from the Itchen North. This was one reason why the Saints fans were even more incensed than they would have been imo.

There were all ages on the pitch, but there were plenty of people not behaving antagonistally to the away fans - I'd say the women and children weren't part of that, but I've already heard enough stories third-hand about chav kids with their dads egging them on in that mob to know better.

It was given away by a bright yellow trail of smoke, not very difficult to follow really...

...I'm sure the CCTV footage will help sort out who should be getting locked up and who was just out there meandering around on the grass anyway, after all, the mob gathered in a spot where there are cameras from two stands and multiple angles, and there's probably a greater percentage of cameras pointing at the areas around away end than anywhere else in the ground too.

Burnly = My new 2nd club

Its a shame the stewards and police wernt able to route out the poopy knobs and eject them before the end of the game. would have stopped the trouble at the end and the pitch invasion would have been nothing more than end of season antics.

At the risk of being boring, pompous and pious, should we really be applauding teh burnley fans giving this skate a good hiding?

I know the way that post is written is bloody funnt, but why is this OK because he was in the away end?

I'd applaud anyone who punched someone for throwing a smoke bomb onto the pitch. The fact that he was a Skate on a wind up makes it even more annoying. He's gone well out of his way to come to SMS, buy a ticket and throw a smoke bomb.

Got everything he deserved.

I certainly hope this story is true as we're going to need this Claret's testimony to the F.A. Besides, the tooth could be used by forensics to determine the DNA of the Pompey fan who threw the flare.

What reasons could a Pompey fan have for going to the last home game of the season, where there is a strong possibility that their closest and most hated rivals would get relegated, if not to cause trouble and look for fights? Especially if they come armed with things to throw at Southampton fans.

I believe if you come looking for trouble, you should expect to be on the receiving end of it.

If I were stupid enough to go to Farton with the intention of throwing things at home fans, I'd consider myself lucky to wake up the next day.

Seems there is no need for a DNA test - Wotton and the 'skate fan' both get a couple of teeth knocked out....a coincidence? I think not. Seems Wotton has shown his true colours.

It is highly likely that some of the front runners were Pompey filth. Lots were not wearing our colours and a two pronged effort to gain more trouble for our club couldn't have been easier to arrange. We are so broke we would sell to anyone who waved money in front of us. The league could really sort us out now.

Seriously Alpine - of course this is all 'harmless fun' and he was 'deserving' but two more serious points - one, we may well be relying on the Burnley fans testomony with respect to the FA report/investigation - tell me how we are likely to get any cooperation from these fans if they would have to admit to what will be considered an Assult?

And what kind of comment is 'you come looking for trouble, you deserve it' - last I looked mate this was not a defence that the police or judges took into account when passing sentance...

You guys may believe he 'got what he deserved' but its still an assult, and sorry I cant condone that whichever club he supported. I did not think we were of that nature.

Portsmouth must really be a dismal place if making the effort on a sunny afternoon to go all the way to Southampton, spend £20 on a ticket, watch our team play well just for the hope of getting a cheap thrill. On reflection, maybe Portsmouth is quite a nice place (long, long time since I've been there), it's the pea-brained residents that are the problem

They came to gloat, maybe to have a wind up. They found a little more than they were looking for. What happened to them was probably illegal but what goes around comes around.

Life's tough isn't it?

If its true, then it is an assault and I do not condone it either. I do reserve the right to laugh at it though and not have much sympathy.

I'm sorry FC, but you have to admit that it is not a clever thing to do. I know it doesn't condone someone smacking him in the face, but hey ho, it happened, and I know that a lot of people in the same position would do the same. If I went to Fratton Park in a Saints shirt, and threw a flare/smoke bomb, I would expect to have the living cr@p kicked out of me, and I could have no complaints.

But luckily, I'd never do that...

I'm not so sure... apparently the proposed new series of crime drama "CSI:Portsmouth" had to be cancelled after producers realised nobody has any dental records and they all have the same DNA! :D
