Assuming this Pinnacle takeover goes through, how many of you are going to renew or buy new season tickets this year?

If MLT is involved, then I wouldn't be surprised to see a few extra thousand buying season tickets. Will be interesting to see if any of the 'stay-aways' return now that we will (hopefully) have a new board with no links to any of the previous regime(s).

Hopefully many will but I still get this niggling doubt that some are gonna think "it's League One, 32k capacity, we aint gonna need one". They'll say they'll go but when it comes to a cold, wet Wednesday night, it's "only" whoever and having to queue, it'll be a case of "I'll go next time".

The biggest move any new owners make is the pricing. Personally I'd offer a fantastic deal on a two year season ticket, hooking people in, particularly as we're likely to start on -10 and probably still be in this division next season.

Some go on about how Norwich have sold 18k STs, admirable, but they got it right the moment they were relegated from the Prem with us. While we continued to charge Prem prices they offered ST holders renewals for £300 and kept them sweet with cheap 'Early Birds' ever since. That's how to keep and reward your fans.

Norwich were also very astute at having special concessions for the young and the older fans too, having bands for the younger fans giving cheap seats up to age 21 and older fans getting a concession from age 60. That encourages fans from an early age, keeps them until they out of their teens and then encourages some grandparents to take the grandchidren too. We ought to do something along similar lines here.

I will renew .... as long as RL is not involved, simple as that, and I think many others .... "the stay aways" feel that way too

Crowd wise, we can match the support that Leeds and Leicester got in Div 1, especially when the Team get a few wins to start the momentum

Yes, i will renew my ST this season.

I wasn't going to bother, just pick & choose matches but if Matty/Pinnacle/Owner do complete the takover i will buy one with some optimism and look forward to a new season for the first time in a couple years.

If the price is good. I would say £240-260 as some clubs come out at £11 on thier March madness but some are £300 ish and thats too much.

Saints need to bite the bullet on raking in cash, Lowe has gone now so his £2.4m is not needed to be covered and wages should NOT be £8-15,000 a week unless the play makes considerable contribution to the peformace of the team like KD.

The the recession and the possibility of Fords and who nows else being closed down Saints would be better pricing as cheap as possible then fans can fund now.

Didnt we get 28K when the Forest game was £15 , just less then Northam Season ticket!!

In addition to getting the ST prices right (and matchday competitive for the division), we need other strategies to entice people in. Family packages 2 adults and 2 kids at a discounted rate; Use the Chapel/Itchen and Northam/Kingsland corners as non-reserved seating, making it £2/£3 cheaper than the reserved seating in the stands; Blocks of vouchers for 5-10 games, which are maybe 5 for the price of 4 and 10 for the price of 7, exchangeable for match tickets on an availability basis; A membership for say, £25 that gives the holder £1 to £1.50 off a match ticket price; Half season tickets. Saints have previously produced them for the 2nd half of the season but not for the first.

Just hope everything is settled soon so we can move forward till such a time they can not put ST on sale. I have spoken to all 12 of our group that sit together 11 of us are going to renew the who is not due to health reasons, not mine I am pleased to say I am in fine fettle after my problems 18 months ago.

Unfortunately I am moving to sunnier climes for a couple of years so will have to revert to being a non-ST holder for a while...

But had I been staying in the UK, I would be buying STs for my entire family (unlike last year when I cancelled my holdings due to Lowe's appointment and policies that inevitably led to Lowe Relegation Season 2).

Me and my mate will, I've always said I will renew as long as RL was nowhere near the club. I think £200 for renewals & £250 for new ST's would be a fair price, but whatever price were in.

Thanks to MLT & Co for all their efforts to save our club.

Being a shift worker. One of the reasons I gave up my season ticket 2 years ago, was that I was only getting to see half the matches I had paid for. If they can accomadate that, then I'm in. I have always said I would go to watch matches, but not whilst Lowe was there.

Do you think they'll be that much? I'm sure I paid less than that last season.

Mine last year was £380 with the March Madness thing. Don't have a clue how much it will be this year, £300 for people who had ST's last season seems fair to me, but then we're football fans and always get fleeced so £350 is more likely.

I agree with both of you on Norwich as three of my best friends are Canaries exiles. However, there is a bit of a spat developing between fans and one of their Directors who has offered to match financially any monies from fans that give up their 20% renewal concession. I can imagine Saints offering such a move would have split opinion on here and indeed the Head of the Supporters' Association has described it as emotional blackmail. Interesting times. I've always liked them as a club and we have been promoted together and relegated together.

I think you're a long way off base if you think you'll get a renewal for £200.Unless of course it's a concessionary price. Will be more like 340 renewals and £380 newbies.IMH of course.

I'm very likely to buy my first season ticket this season - fresh start an all. Been put off by the price before but hopefully will be more reasonable. The only thing that may stop me is whether or not I can find a mate willing to purchase one with me!
