what is he meant to do...he has just seen two teams park the bus and win at chelsea...

Makes perfect sense to try something different than being a distant second to Chelsea in every department. Our 4-2-3-1 will probably look like a 4-5-1 today and Rodriguez will do a lot of desperate running...

Key is how Guly and Punch will cope with protecting Clyne and Shaw without getting sucked into the defensive line...

4: Confident start by Southampton as the side string a number of good passes together inside the Chelsea half. #saintsfc

5: First shot of the evening goes Chelsea's way as a counter-attack ends with Oscar side-footing well wide. #saintsfc

Those Chelski players are thin to get into those shirts

Like the lineup makes sense with 5 across the middle attempting to keep it tight with JRod staying active upfront.

Reckon we'll see lambert and gaston come on for Davis and JRod with 15 to go if we're still in it. Up the saints!!

Nice to have some quality to come off the bench for a change

Well shielded from Jos. I'd assume he needs a few good actions to build up confidence - please let him have a good game...

I thought he had a sound game at Stoke, almost like he had never been out. If he has anything about him he must be gagging to get back in especially now we have Forren on his shoulder.

True. It may also well be that these players are mentally stronger than we think, and that Jos is confident in his own abilites regardless of the unfortunate start to the season. It's not a given fact that he is a bag of nerves :)
