Some of the comments on here are pathetic, negative and downright pessimistic. Give up being a supporter if you can't get excited about your team in a semi final of a major cup competition. It was only a few years ago that 50000 +went to Wembley for a tin pot trophy. For most seasons we've been underdogs, but we've also toppled the top teams. If we lose, we do...but a win tonight will be rather fun. I am excited to see a Saints team go for it big time, put Liverpool under pressure and get a great result. Certainly the players will give their all tonight. Get behind the team and allow the flame of hope to rise in your hearts. Dream!

Great win. JRodlacks confidence, but is getting game time and still in capital cup...which gives more games. Best footballing Saints team I've seen in ages.strength in depth except right back and up front...although Long is still to return. Boufal will also add to team. Amazing credit to our new left back...what a few weeks to break through.

I think it's time to stop fearing the opposition. Why should Saints not be confident of winning? Saints are on form, have a great defence and play fluid attacking football with some unpredictability. Chelsea should be worried...as I suspect most managers secretly are.

I think on MOTD, Pelle said he only now felt fit...which may be why he's struggled for a couple of months and why his movement was better yesterday. The goals will do his confidence the world of good, plus knowing he's likely to start our next match.
