You seem to be forgetting one important factor - one which applies to the whole fashion industry to be fair - purchasing one isn't compulsory. If you don't like the shirt don't buy it. If you don't like the price don't pay it. But presumably enough people (not me) ARE happy to be paying that price for them or they wouldn't be able to get away with charging it year after year.

BIB Is may just be my imagination but it seems like every season there's one round of fixtures (usually with less than half a dozen fixtures left) when all of the relegation candidates win, then it's back to normal the following week. Company #3 would only cover the running of the Ladies teams, Companies #4&5 own/operate Staplewood, thought that Company #2 only relates to running of the mens sides (so surprised that is listed), I would only expect Company #1 to have anything to do with property ownership.
