That looks SO much better Dan, hopefully the club will re-evaluate the design with the red blob I for one don't like it as it ruins the look of the design. I also quite like the idea of using a more "retro" crest seeing as this is a celebration of the history of our club.

Three moments for me; Waigo scoring the equaliser v Norwich in the cup (mates a norwich fan gave it some added spark) Lambert equaliser v the Skates - didn't see who scored, didnt hear the stupid post goal music or the crappy tannoy announcement just 30,000 odd saints fans going absolutely mental amazing! Kelv picking up the cup at wembley never thought Id get to go as a Saints fan fantastic day - we were on our way back!

I remember reading somewhere last season that we needed 17,000 a game to break even on staging games last season and that was taking into account the stadium mortgage etc so based on that the break even figure for crowds must be much less surely? Also anyone know, did we take much money from ticket sales for the JPT final or does that go to wembley/FA?

A reduced wages Thomas is worth keeping I would think, certainly does a decent job filling in at right back in niggly games and IMO better than Dan Seabourne at CB. Can't argue with the rest of those though. Perry might be worth a shout at some level of the club though, can only help the younger players to learn from someone as experienced as him.

Seabourne - poor mans Elliott Ward? ;-) Had some good games and some dire ones that I've seen him in. Was terrible vs Oldham and only thanks to the gk that we didnt lose that game after he gifted two chances to Oldham that any half decent team would have taken easily. Needs time but reminds me somewhat of Oli "super good prospect" Lancashire.

Just noticed that the lad in Oldhams goal is Daryl Flahavan ex southampton keeper hopefully he'll make his most important performance for us tonight and shut out 'uddersfield!

Performances are irrelavant in our situation Alps it's all about points and wins now. I imagine Brighton managed to lose to Pool because Pool scored more goals than Brighton ;-) Ask a silly question ... Really mate I'd advise you wait and see in future games rather than getting in a tizz after 5 minutes :-) It'll make you feel better!

Barnard and Waigo came on after 75 minutes - not a massive amount of time granted but certainly not 5 minutes! Seems to me he changed it up and given Brighton had been on top for the previous 15 mins or so to the subs hardly an awful decision to hold back on attacking subs whilst you're trying to re-establish a foot hold in the game. I believe Brighton were somthing like 3rd in recent form coming into this game they aren't mugs in this division by a long shot. But ... you're correct lets not be hasty and write him off ey, I'm sure this type of thread was put up in particular to not get on the guys back ;-) As others have said if you aren't enjoying this season you must really hate being a saints fan! Silverware and still in with an outside chance of squeaking through to the play offs is an excellent achievement after the start to the season, RE the first 10 games not the pre season before we cover old ground AGAIN.

Not sure Hall deserves to be on this list moved to West Ham for a couple of mill if I recall correctly. Got a career ending injury there and that was the end of that!

Gutted for the bloke, been solid all throughout the competition and deserved his wembley day, if you include penalty shoot outs I believe he had scored in every round bar the area final.

What got me last night was that Swindon had nullified us in exactly the same way they did back in August. Excellent defensive tactics 2nd half to get play stuck in the middle of the park and then break quickly to the wide players who would suddenly pull away when they had possession and leave our lot still wondering where the ball was! Also as said elsewhere Connolly looked excellent when he came on, a bit more nous than Barnard but Waigo ... who had been told to get out wide constantly got into the middle with no effect and ended up running the same channels as DC. Puncheon seemed to move into the middle after the last two subs and sort of nullified himself! not his best game. Overall we got caught by a sucker punch and just faded away badly. Shame but not the end of the world.

Be a bit daft to take on a club about to be relegated and with huge debts. Unlikely to be as upwardly mobile as us if they go down IMO. But then again it's on 606 so must be true ;-)
