  1. Most shots by ANY team this season in the EPL. Great 2nd half. Redmond had a great gane as did McQueen for his PL debut. Felt for J-Rod with that chance at the end. COYR
  2. Hamstring. That'll be 6 weeks of Matty Target then
  3. good, we need to get on with doing just that to have some certainty
  4. Not to have a go at JWP but I couldn't help thinking his chance near the end was almost exactly the same as Hesketh's chance he took against Palace. Still would have taken a point at 2.15 and 6 clean sheets is brilliant, keep that up and we'll be in Europe again

Never go for a drink with Craig David on a Tuesday unless you have a free calendar and an open mind. (He did distance himself a bit from us when we dropped into League One, saying he also supported Arsenal or something like that - like about 40 other people I know to be fair)
  6. No joke Dalek, this team reminds me of how Hoddle's Saints played football - tight at the back and go for a 1-0. Maybe we have the French Hoddle, both played at Monaco as well.
  7. I know exactly why they voted leave - I'm from Totton originally and remember how the value system in areas like Totton places more kudos on being "cool" than "intelligent", is belligerent and quick to fight, and is also ultimately easy to manipulate with bad facts and scary headlines. I'm also aware that globalisation benefits the world by dragging the global underclass out of poverty and into the working class (which ultimately gets them paying taxes to maintain the culture, and to become consumers for the ruling manufacturing class) but it screws over the working class of countries like the UK by dragging those guys closer to the global underclass as they get dragged toward Western standards of living. So things feel worse for those people, and they vote against it. IMHO... As a remainer however, I have to say I thought Liam Fox's speech yesterday about being a standard bearer for global free trade was the first decent optimist thing I'd heard from what was a fairly nasty side of the campaign. and we are leaving, so lets get on with it.
  8. Damn right, and when we repeal all the human rights legislation I'm going to exploit the plebs to **** in my sweatshop. Bring it on
  9. Carlton Pogba - love it
  10. It was until we said we're leaving anyway - we are a godsend to the Federalist nutters
  11. Exactly, my grandad fought in the BEF and then through the Middle and Far Easts to ensure good old British Fascism had a chance against that foreign Fascism rubbish. As Brexit is all about Freedom, I think we should be free to have as many passports as we like - as long as we are paying our UK taxes what's the problem (and what's the problem with my Grand Cayman passport exactly)
  12. NANANANANANANANA Leader
  13. My mates son who is brickying at Austin's on a development in Newbury says he was a **** bricky As long as he keeps scoring and doesn't harm team morale, he's alright .
  14. and the Tyro league playing at Millbrook
  15. Billionaires wouldn't touch a Sunseeker with a barge pole. Blom + Voss / Fincantierre for them :-) They might buy the company mind
  16. Frankie Bennet was fast as f***, but couldn't play football. Van Gobbell was quick I seem to remember as well, mainly because when he started moving he couldn't stop
  17. I hope that this is Not Exclusive Or they'll be first out the gate. What next NANDos?

  21. Hacked by Nigel Adkins by the sound of it
  22. never underestimate how thick the general public can be
  23. I'm in the Birmingham navy so occasionally need crew, but it's just about turning engines on :-) Back to the boxes, they are empty space so utterly wasted if empty. the club should really look to promote these more actively and at realistic prices. Maybe turn them into a mini-suite for an overnight hotel experience
  24. He was indeed in Ocean Village as I could see my boat in the background of one of his first interviews when he joined . Coming back to how engaged the commercial team are, I received one call, got sent a brochure, had one follow up call that I answered and when I said I wasn't interested in a season there was no "why not, what can I do to convince you" it was: "ok, cheers". Feels like it needs a proper hospitality manager. My business partners brother in law used to run Arsenal's, maybe they can get him in
  25. His agent gets £65k a week :-)
