  4. We have points -yeaaaayyyyyy...!!!! Happy days
  5. Yeah but the good news is that Hull have also won and the two teams above Pompey have 2 games in hand still.
  6. Although not there - I can confirm that it is no longer -1 though...!!
  7. Remind me - what is it they say about minds that think alike...?
  8. I think that any Dr quotes are in bad taste to be honest - they might offend the BlueFew down the road...!
  9. Bollix to an equaliser - hopefully they will score in the 95 and 96 minute to win the game...!!
  10. Who cares about corners when we can score shed fulls from open play eh...!!!
  11. We dont need to - 95 minutes will suffice...!
  12. Damn - come on Wolves. BTW - Why is it that I really want to watch the next 10 minutes of your avatar...? !!
  13. Wes - I don't disagree with anything that you say (including the gloating btw..!), but (and call me stupid at any point) I cannot get my head around this whole thing. The fake Dr, buys a club (or business), he offloads most of it's prized asetts and replaces them with cheap alternatives - sending the business to an all time (Prem) low. He then openly declares that he is looking to refinance the business - therefore we can all safely assume that he has no money. Just to exhasberate the problem further he actually fails to pay his staff and has to go cap in hand to get a loan. So, I admit, I'm confused because for the life of me, I cannot understand why he bought the club in the first place - it just does not make sence. All of that said - I too agree with you on the point of new investors. Apart from the fact that they would probably be able to pick up the club for peanuts once all the dust has settled, I fail to see why anybody would be remotely interested in it. There are loads of very decent alternatives from Newcastle to Darlington, both of whom would snap a wealthy investors hand off. As I said - the whole thing doesn't add up - something very 'fishy' going on.
  14. Rarely do I come down on the side TDD, and having once met a load of submariners in the FI's, I cannot claim to envy thier job at all. However, I think the points that he is making are far from sexist - more realist if truth be known. He is not doubting any womans ability to actually conduct the job role in hand, but is looking at the practicalities of filling the role. I too have experienced this dilema. While I was serving in Bosnia a female (TA Volunteer) was posted to my unit and she insisted that she wanted to serve on one of the remote detachments - so I posted her to one. After less than a week she declared to me that she was in fact 2 months pregnant and wanted to return to Banja Luka (Metal Factory). My initial take on this is that pregnancy is not an illness and many women work throughout it - therefore I told her that I would look at replacing her, but that it might take two to three weeks. One day later, I was contacted by the Medical Officer and told that I would remove her from the hilltop site within 24 hours. So through her own doing she got her own way and mucked others about at the same time. I have also had a case of a muslim soldier who, because he was disallusioned with the system, played it for all he was worth. He demanded his own room because he needed to pray in peace and he also finished work at 3 oclock on certain days because he had to pray. Again - this causes disruption and annoyance to other soldiers - but we had to deal with it. As for TDD's point about woman in Specialist Forces - there are some that do such jobs, but again the majority are men and it's likely to stay that way for the foreseeable future. So you see - it's not a case of they cannot do the job - it's more a case of integrating them into what historically is a male orientated environment. Nothing sexist there at all.
  15. If that is the case - why loan them money to pay the wages now? Sorry but it doesnt't stack up at all. As for the possible points deduction - it probably is not even a factor. Any right thinking person would know that there is a very real possibility that Pompey will be relegated this season - therefore that is already factored into their thinking. They may well go down - but, like us, could yet come up smelling of roses.
  16. I think that all of the gloating / banter might fast be about to come to a halt to be honest. If, as we suspect, the good Dr is about to put them into administration, it would appear that they have a very, very good 'get out of jail' card in the PS consortium waiting in the wings. As I understand it there are some very wealthy backers who would be able to invest in the club and take it further. So perhaps, all the talk of big players, new ground and considerable investment is not actually that far away. Remember that good old adage - he who laughs last, laughs longest. That said, I have never understood, how do you know who laughs last?
  17. Errr I think that Paul Hart would put them in tomorrow if that was the case...! I think you'll find that they are deducted 9 points, not given...!
  18. For thier sake I hope so because the fake Dr is a complete and utter disaster.
  19. The situation is beyond laughable really. Why on earth did this guy buy the club - I really do not understand his motive(s). It would appear obvious that he does not have the required capital to run it on a daily basis, let alone think about trying to invest money into it in order to make it a success. I just don't get it - it doesn't add up - why would he give himself the hassle, there is no return to be had here. If he is forced to sell, surely he will make a massive loss, the whole situation is totally bizarre. As for the PL getting involved due to unpaid wages, surely it is the same as we experienced when we were selling the likes of Surman and McGoldrick in order to pay the staff, thus staying (the football club!) out of administration. That said - if Pompey were to now have a 9 point penalty against them, then they really would have no chance of avoiding relegation.
  20. So to sum up then, you are willing to highlight others lack of work ethic and discipline to succeed, yet you yourself lack the work ethic and discipline to succeed because you can' be assed to find out how to bold it - bloody typical...!
  21. Ya gotta larf...! Having never, ever seen him play we made him out to be a demigod, now after one full game he's garbage...! Us fickle - notatall...!!
  22. Naaah - we all said that just so Markus would get his wallet out. Now he's paid we want instant mate, instant...! I seem to recall that MM at Wolves didn't have a great start - many of thier fans wanted rid of him - strange old world.
  23. No problem - an emotive night - glad you boys are back to put some real perspective on the situation.
  24. No shyte sherlock - I wouldn't have guessed that...!
  25. But surely those people are not allowed to post an opinion are they... what sort of forum rules is this... we want more hysterics from the armchair fans... more calling for AP's removal - never mind that old 5 year plan that we all signed up to at the start of the season eh...?
