  1. I have an AT 4050, love it. Massive improvement on my previous which was a cheap condenser. I wanted a 414 but couldn't stretch to it.
  2. Agree with this. Just because they don't have a massive fanbase doesn't mean the supporters who do go are any less deserving of top flight football than anybody else. It's hard to see teams with 15000 average gates in the prem but we are where we are for a reason.
  3. That's pretty cool but not convinced it would eliminate queues. There were still massive queues when they were just serving bottles.
  4. Worth pointing out though before some idiot posts it on twitter and people start asking him about it. Embarrasing really.
  5. Lol. He's talking about the premier league title.
  6. The tea boy got more points per game than the man he took over from. Roeder was to blame for Norwich's relegation, by the time Gunn came in they were in freefall. Not sure why I am feeling the need to defend Bryan bloody Gunn but there you go.
  7. "A free parcel bomb with every Season Ticket, if that doesn't put the bastards off nothing will."
  8. Wierdly, the full pints were back for Saturdays game as opposed to the bottles. Not sure why, trial run perhaps with a full ground?
  9. Not really. They were only out of the relegation zone on GD when they appointed him.
  10. Quite interesting given that is pretty much what Bally is supposed to have said to our players about MLT, minus the dog analogy.
  11. I don't want the playoffs, a very close friend has already arranged his wedding for playoff final day. For this reason we must get top 2 so I don't miss out on anything.
  12. I think you're reading too much into what was probably a throw away comment. Every club has to be prepared in case a key player is taken off them.
  13. That may be the dullest sentence I've ever read ;-)
  14. Frustrating that some people are too stupid to understand this... I bet there were very few at the game who've not been to a number already this season. I heard people talking about 10'000 fans coming out of the woodwork having not been all season blah blah. They haven't come out of nowhere, it's just those who normally make up the extras on top of ST holders have all come at once!
  15. Just ask him where he was born and find the nearest football club, it probably isn't Pompey.
  16. A close friend has booked his wedding for 19th May, so I can confirm that Saints are now GUARANTEED to make the playoff final.
  17. When I say the table doesn't tell the whole story what I mean is, if you look at the final table you could say it seems that we ran them close, when in reality they won it comfortably.
  18. I thought he did ok. Quite a lot of people around me were chuckling at him.
  19. No we wouldn't. Brighton would've not taken their foot off the gas quite so early. Very proud of our run in but the 3 points behind Brighton doesn't quite tell the story does it?
  20. I'm still recovering, thought I was going to miss the free game but managed to drag myself down there in the end, just.
  21. They promised no tuition fees if they won the election. I honestly don't know what people expect them to do. It's a coalition, compromises have to be made.
  22. Weren't Hudders down to 10 men as well? Making all the more unbelievable. Or is that my memory playing tricks?
  23. I will go a bit more specific and list moments that stick out in my memory.... The expectation of that first L1 game v Milwall, and the realisation this would be tougher than I thought. The excitement when we were signing player after player. Lambert, Hammond, Waigo, Jaidi, Harding... The utter frustration of going those first 7 games before the first win. Realising we were on track with the 4-1 win home to Gillingham. The back to back 5 goal hauls against Walsall and Huddersfield. The JPT, of course. I remember Huddersfield scoring a late winner (Lee Novak?) to all but end our playoff hopes, gutted. Then the excitement and build up to this season, followed by the depressing familiarity of our terrible start to the season. Losing 2-0 at home to Rochdale felt absolutely horrible, massive low point. The 2-0 win at home to Bournemouth, the feeling that maybe our season was finally beggining. 6-0 away at Oldham, sitting at home listening to the radio in slight shock :-) 3-2 MK Dons, will never forget that one. 1-0 Bristol Rovers, utter relief. Plymouth, best day ever. Overall, I've really enjoyed the league and will miss certain aspects of it, but I'm ready to see us playing teams of similar size and stature every week again. Roll on next season.
  24. There was a bloke making up chants on the train home. Was amusing for 10 minutes or so, but EVERY SINGLE ONE was to that tune. Did my head in.
