The problem is that Jan Kluitenberg is our physical coach, he has a poor track record at other clubs. Its worrying that players such as Clasie and Ramirez struggle to stay fit and many players seem lightweight.
-
Our fitness has been worrying all season imho. Read a interview with Clasie in one of the Dutch papers and he quoted that Jan Kluitenberg is indeed our physical coach. Kluitenberg was sacked by Feyenoord, before he joined us, due to poor fitness of the players (in a league where fitness levels are much lower than in the bpl).

The Belgium motorways are hell. Up till Brussels you would be fine, around Brussels its one big traffic jam, then Brussels till Liege the motorway is in a very poor state. The Autobahn in Germany sadly isnt in the best state either. Apart from that you should be ok. Colonge is a great place.

, writhing in Dutch or English goes allright, but once listing to something in Dutch or English, and having to translate, thats were its gets messy for me. My apologies for some of my spelling at times.

Just to quote myself, the video http://nos.nl/video/714306-koeman--koeman-stelen-de-harten.html Starts with them going back to When Poortvliet and Wotte were leading the and them saying that Staplewood was little run down. Goes on saying how far we have come and that we are second the in the league. Reporter says that unlike our modern redevelped training facilities (where they arent alloud to film) Southampton isnt like barcelone, then names a list of cities Koeman has worked. Koeman says he didnt expect to be here, and that Southampton is your typical English harbour city. reporter says some stuff of little intrest. Koeman goes on saying that the put up pictures of the players in the tunnel. Koeman says he changed the way the players train and that he has introduced the Dutch school of training. Koeman goas on saying that at the first training the positioning of the players and everything about the style and the way we played brought tears to his eyes. The team improved alot and there is more to come says RK. Reporter asks if we in England do stuff different, RK says he lets Sammy Lee do the pre match talk, who uses f*ck alot in it. Erwin Koeman goes on saying that RK has made a name for himself in a short time. Reporter says to Koeman, you want to beat Van Gaal, Koeman replies with yes. Koeman goes on saying that in the UK the manager invites the manager of the opposition round for a glass of whine. Then they go on about the Dutch national team. Reporter asks Erwin Koeman if he and Ronald have the same contract, Erwin says he would like Ronalds contract. Then Ronald says he likes working with his brother.

Morgan Schneiderlin comments in 'France Football' magazine
Dr. Kucho replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
The Mirror reckon we are about to offer him a new contract, would be amazing if he signed a new one. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-set-offer-morgan-schneiderlin-4379220 -
Dutch news website Nu.nl (useally pretty acurate) reporting that the Alvaro Gonzalez deal is almost done.

Poor Luke underestimated how difficult the step up would be. Basically saying he has to get alot fitter to play for Manure. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28558745

It was Pelle v Osvaldo, with Big Vic asked bij Koeman to end it by knocking both out. Wonder if we will get to see any training pictures this week.

How many more signings do you think we'll make ?
Dr. Kucho replied to Saints boy in Leeds's topic in The Saints
According to Koeman in Dutch football magazine VI, he stated in a interview (after the trip to Belgium), we were busy with a few transfers. He said that was all he had to say about it. Not much info, but thats the last I read about any possible transfers. Did you know that we are the club that has made the most money this summer with outgoing transfers, if I remember rightly Porto and Bayern Munich made up the top 3. -
Living in the Netherlands the Malaysian plane crash has been huge. Have been out the country for the last few days, but still big news here with special broadcasts throughout the day. The speech by the Dutch foreign minister was moving. At the gym I work a 20 year boy lost both his mother and step dad in the crash.

Amazed by the amount of people along the route. Have watched the Tour for years, but cant remember seeing that many people, even on the Alp D`uez.
-
At Feyenoord Koeman has done amazingly well, though nobody expected him to do. However at the Spanish and Portugese clubs he managed, it was less of a succes. And in the Netherlands the opninions on him are divided. Would have mixed feelings if Koeman was appointed.

Apologies for my spelling, in a bit of a rush, but will give the interview a quick translation, The interest of Southampton in Ronald Koeman is becoming more serious (this sentence sounds so wrong). Jos Hooiveld hopes the club brings Koeman to the PL, he says in a interview with VI (dutch football magazine) A year and half ago we changed our style of play, it has become smarter and more fluent. As a small club in the PL we try to play neat football and play a high line. Koeman would suit the club, the 31 year old defender says. During my holiday on Ibiza I spoke to feyenoord players Ruben Schaken and Samuel Armenteros, both spoke highly of him. Hooiveld, who fell out of favour with MP, hopes the new manager will give him a new chance. With the departure of MP and a new manager coming in, everyone starts with a clean sheet. And maybe another player will leave, cos if you have to believe the English press, we are going to lose many more players. We would be lucky if we have 11 players at the start of the season. Hope this makes sense now. In other words, nothing has really been said. Dutch media do seem to think we are about to appoint Ronald Koeman, and that he will bring forward Graziano Pelle with him, for around 8 million pounds.
-
Koeman was great at Feyenoord the last few seasons, with very little money he finished second in the league twice. However his time at Valencia, AZ and to a certain extent Ajax werent very successfull. At Feyenoord he played many youth players and had to sell his best players at the end of the season. Frank de Boer wont happen, IF the club somehow is able to get him, MP will be forgotten very soon.
-
Could THFC make me hate them even more? Not sure if that is possible. Gutted if/when MP leaves, but have faith in the board that they will find a good replacement.
-
Worst has to Katowice, like stepping 30 years back in time. The road from Katowice to Karkow wasnt great either. Copenhagen has a good airport, very well organised. Gatwick isnt to bad either.
-
In his time at Ajax Stekelenburg was a very good keeper, however he seems to have stalled in his progress. I Agree with Martini that we should go for him, with a bit of confidence and a solid back 4 he could return to his previous best.
-
Gazza to stop a penalty, make world class saves and Guly to come on in the 90th minute and score the winner. How I hope this will happen. If I remember rightly in Gazza,s last game for us, he made some very good saves. Come on kid, you can do that again today!

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 4-0 Newcastle
Dr. Kucho replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Some of our one touch passing was simply amazing. Rodriguez and Lallana are def going to Brazil this summer, and mr Krueger, please get MP to sign a new long term contract. City will be tough next week, but play like this and who know. -
I cant be bothered to read the whole thread, this might have been said, but hope MP stays for a long time. He might have made some mistakes etc, but we have changed managers to often the last few years. With MP we have a good young manager and with a manager in charge for a while, he can build a strong squad. The players also seem to like him.

Sorry to hear about your dog Gemmel. Had to have my cat put sleep last Wednesday, absolutly devastated. Does seem the older you get the harder it is, had him for 13 years and it will take some time to get over the fact he isnt around anymore.

I hate Spurs so much. This game tops a bad week for me (had to have my cat put to sleep).
