Exactly, it seemed quite urgent after the Bournemouth game according to NA then just over a week later we didnt need anyone. Wonder what he is saying now ? I would go and get a decent midfielder and Antonio if Chambo is going to be out for a while cos he still isnt getting off the Reading bench. If we make do how bare is our bench going to be if Lallana and Chambo are out ?

So with the injuries to Lallana and Chambo does anyone still think we dont need to go and get a midfield player in on loan before Thursday's deadline ?

Chambo leaves ground on crutches, Lallana has groin problem. Both to be assessed tomorrow....... Thats the last we will hear of it then considering we still haven't been told about Morgan being out for the season !! First we will know is if they dont run out against MK Dons in 10 days time.

I agree 100%. I just hope those at the club who make these decisions agree too. NC hasn't let us down so far and I dont expect him to let us down over this.

I think we are, very lacking in decent cover for central midfield, especially if one of the current two gets injured or suspended. I will be very disappointed if we dont bring someone into the building before Thursday's deadline.

I agree. It was dodgy to say the least when it was called off as it was surrounded by Ifs, Buts and maybes but now there is no problem it should be played...and for the reason you state !

Central midfield much more important. We have Guly, Lallana, Chamberlain, Forte, N'Gassen and if ever fit Connolly can all fill one of the two places up front.

Well unless NA goes out and gets a decent central midfielder in on loan before Thursday instead of just a covering player who can sit on the bench then Chaplow out of form or not is the best we are going to get along with Hammond who can also slip in and out of form fairly regularly. I wouldn't be surprised if Chaplow isnt carrying a slight injury, he doesn't seem as quick as he was a few weeks ago.

That explains a lot......one of the worst displays I have seen this season, and we have had some prize pillocks as competition for him. Funniest thing was when he booked their no. 7 right at the end for a nothing foul after everything their back four had gotten away with against Barnard and Lambert.

No wonder we have the reputation with Bournemouth and others of being arrogant.
