doggface Posted 20 June, 2009 Share Posted 20 June, 2009 based on the concerns which I heard about wednesday, I think he means rival bidders trying to squeeze a late deal. If I had to bet I would put my money on MJ being the main culprit but this part is just my opinion.

If I had to bet I would put my money on MJ being the main culprit but this part is just my opinion.Perhaps that is the case. I had hoped his rival offer would have only come into play if Pinnacle fail, which to be fair at present they might well do unless they blink. If they are going to invest in KK who is said to want big money to spend -10 should nopt be a problem, if they want the business to run on its own steam then it will be a problem

If I had to bet I would put my money on MJ being the main culprit but this part is just my opinion. I think this is unlikely from what I am hearing from that group. Anyway, they could not interfere whilst the exclusivity period was in place and although it seems to have ended last night I do not expect the group to have much influence in the next few days. It is either the other group in touch with the Administrator or others listed in the initial post.

It is either the other group in touch with the Administrator or others listed in the initial post. Of course a rival bidder could interfere despite the exclusivity. Letters, emails, phone calls to creditors, FL, MF. If I wanted to disrupt a rival bid, I would, for instance let the FL league know that I would accept to with hold the clubs right of appeal. My team can be proud how the way they played. Hamster trying to take out my star forward and midfielder all in 1 tackle was a sign of things to come.If you recall Frannies tackle on Fashanu and you get the picture. The DVD is arriving next week and Im looing forward to watching the quality football on offer, it was a bit like Steven Hawking without his chair meets David Blunkett without his helper. The shots were raining in from all directions, the ballboys Iam told had hell of a lot of trouble dodging the traffic on Northam bridge trying to retrieve some of Drogbaj and Grunties efforts.I have decided to hail Phil as the winner and accept that football is all about winning not fair play. As for Millbrook and Shirley Warren having a team, I dont think Id be the man. Im a Shirley lad and we dont do riff raff

saintalan Posted 21 June, 2009 Share Posted 21 June, 2009 I heard it twice on Wave 105 yesterday but have not seen any transcript ! The quote on the OP by Um P was totally accurate though ! MLT’s words on the telephone to SSN “It’s been a frustrating time for us despite several attempts for clarity over the FL position over a licence related matter to which we still have no answer. It’s not a new issue but it has to be resolved to our satisfaction in order to conclude the takeover. Despite continuing outside interference with our bid we’re committed to complete the deal as we feel it’s in the best long term interests of SFC which is obviously what I care most about. We’re hoping that we can get this resolved shortly and the next announcement that we will make will be to confirm the takeover and I would just like to thank the staff at the Football Club and indeed the fans for their patience and their support in this matter, I can tell them it’s appreciated from all concerned.” MLT added in a statement “Certain legal aspects which were not part of the original terms which we agreed to enter into have only been made available within the last 48 hours. The details of these matters are governed by a NDA which we entered into and we have adhered to in every respect”
