Your confidence in the Liebherr regime ?

A dignified, measured and professional purchase of the club, an ability to make clear and timely decisions and the ability to attract a potentially excellent new manager.

Not yet 3 weeks into the post and already I have seen greater competence at board level than at any time in the last 10 years !

I personally would like to congratulate and thank ML for restoring my confidence and pride in my football club - It has been many years since I have felt this positive about the club.

Would be interested in other peoples early impressions of ML and his team..

A very weak appointment as manager who IMHO will not put bums on seats! Maybe he is the best we could expect BUT... no ..not a good start!

But would'nt it have been weaker to persist with Wotte rather than make a bold and decisive statement that he is not the man - There are better out there and I'm going to get one ?

Holy carp some people! 2 weeks ago we had no owners and were up S8it creek with no sign of a paddle now we have a billionaire owner who immediately sorted KD contract that evening - sacked wotte and appointed a manager proven at this level for a club that is already in the relegation zone of Div3!! We have yet to see what signings he makes but how anyones expectations can be that we would have appointed a premiership manager and made premiership player signings are beyond belief

I think the new order have conducted themselves swiftly and professionaly and in the long term will be the best thing to happen to the club for many decades, the recovery will not happen overnight or even in 1 season

when did he get banned..and what for..?

No idea....just looked him up earlier and saw that he was banned.

Perhaps he's really Alan Pardew and wanted to close off his account on here now he's been appointed? :D Would explain his campaign to get rid of Lowe and Wotte... ;) :)

A "very weak" appointment?

Could you give me a name of an appointment that would just be a "weak" appointment.

And then the name of someone that would be a "good" appointment.

And then, what the hell, a "very good" appointment.

And try and keep out of la-la land with your suggestions. Gordon Strachan was never, ever going to be our manager.

Congrats for being the first moaner.

Amazing isnt it.....as someone said just over 2 weeks ago we looked like the end was in sight for SFC.....now we have a billionaire owner, cheaper season tickets, a manager with a proven track record in this league and the two above it, yet some can still find fault !

FFS............

IMHO the new owner and his staff are yet to put a foot wrong.....and if I buy a programme with a Golden Ticket in then I will start to believe in Father Christmas again

Seems to be handling sainst as he would any other part of his business and thats led to a 2.5 million fortune so I have to say my trust is 100%!

Great start, Great stuff

I'm guessing of course, but I don't reckon that Mr Liebherr will be appointing you as his accountant any time soon...! ;)

Im assuming it was because of his rascist post on the Jimi Floydd Hasselbaink thread?

Absolutely out of order

attracting a manager to the third tier, on minus 10, who 3 years ago was minutes away from cup victory,

took team to play off final in league 1

next year promoted form league 1

next year getting to CCC play off final,

next year play off final

next year victory in play off and promotion to premiership,

next year cup final

Mixed time at Reading.

But WTF do you expect for us?

Better record by a mile than WGS had, or NP had (or has tbf)

I dont have the answers and it is not my job to appoint. All I can say is that when i found out the manager was Pardew my instant reaction was not good... gut reaction,, sorry... no alternatives, I realise who and where we are. I posted my first reaction... which surely is fair enough... I wish pardew well, there would be no pleasure in seeing him fail...

exactly. Some people need to take a huge humility pill. Cast the calendar back a couple of weeks and the club is lucky to even be here. Where these ridiculous expectations have come from I've no idea!

By all means express it, but don't moan when we tell you to sort your expectations out. As others have said, tell us who would have got your seal of approval.

A breath of fresh air as far as I can see.

They look very well organised and efficient.

The buyout went through very quickly and without any hitches.

The Season Ticket pricing and implementation was well organised. Being able to go to SMS on the first day of sale and walk away with an ST after only 20 minutes was brilliant.

I think Pardew is about the best combination of experience and a hungry winner with something to prove, that we could have hoped for.

I'm assuming Andy Oldknow is responsible for much of the above so well done mate and keep up the good work.

I didn't say you did mention Strachan.

If Pardew is "very weak" which is a pretty damning attack, who wouldn't be "very weak" in your opinion. I notice you offered no suggestion first time out.

And where have I "slagged off" anyone?

Fair enough - You are entitled to that !

But do you think its a reflection on the competence of Markus and Team or simply in your view, the best we can get ?

Do Markus' other actions and decisions ( Ex Pardew) give you confidence ?

All I can say is that when i first found out i wasnt bowled over... a gut reaction... now given time to think about it... no change BUT I am now hoping his first few additions to the squad help me to reassess my thoughts.

Re: markus... obviously v happy he saved us... and maybe Pardew is the best we could expect.

Who did I think (not want - my wish list like many was unrealistic) would get the job...? Ince.. but I am glad he went back to MK.

Ince was back at mk before our job was available so how on earth could he have been a target?

You said you were disappointed in the appointment of AP. There must have been someone before today who was top of your list, or a group of managers, we just want to know who you wouldn't have been disappointed in
