Well I will be watching the game in the North Shields Pub near Sultanahmet in Istanbul, and I have a season ticket, so will I be included in the attendance or not?

Hope I see another Saints fan and not too many blue shirts!!

Just phoned ticket office only 7k left!!! Blocks 1-9 sold out, northam sold out kingsland/northam corner sold out. Closet you can get to Northam is block 35 row C only. How many corners are closed - if any?

Really positive news though could be bloody amazing atmosphere.

Are you sure? I have seen people asking the ticket office in the past and they often give wrong info. That is amazing if you have been given the correct info.

Itchen north is still shut, so it's 7k left plus whatever the amount of seats in that section.

You mean like when they claimed to have sold 30,000 for the Ajax game and were expecting it to sell out on the day.

The taxi down to the pub or the watch at home alone decision

Tough call

Especially as I'm in the Ponty first game of the season televised game jinx

At least at home I can switch to the cricket......

(I can get away with that as Trousers is limited to 3 posts a day....)

I thought blocks 1, 2 and 3 were not available this season?

So it's 7,000 tickets remaining for sale, plus the empty/closed corners? Not bad, but not really anything to get THAT excited about! Looks like it'll be around the 20/21k mark which is more than respectable all things considered.

I thought it was excellent, considering its holiday season and it's on TV?

Just a thought.....20,000 is a bloody good attendance for the 3rd tier of English football. I guess you're a glass half empty type of person.

I'm agreeing with you, it is very good, just saying if you're expecting to turn up at a packed out St Mary's tomorrow you'll be disappointed!

Norwich have sold 25,000 for their game and Leeds have sold around 28,000.

Norwich sold 18,500 season tickets on their equivalent of early-bird prior to relegation. So they have have had about 6,500 extras. Roughly what we have had.

With our tickets not going on sale till late in the season break I dont think its too bad, Quite good really...

Leeds is a big city and with no other major club a large support is expected, but 28,000 for this league is still good....

I'M guessing 20/21,000 for us which still is not bad considering that lot down the road in the Premiership only get that many...

Hold on a minute, where have all the Lowe Boycotters gone again ?

No, the shortfall is all the pro-Lowe faction boycotting the new people who ousted their lord and master. ;) The Lowe boycotters have now all renewed their STs, hence the Northam is full, whereas there will be spaces in the other parts of the ground where the freeloaders used to sit.

Lowe fecking Lowe! Lowe is like a fecking Coldsore! its ugly, Embarrassing and upfront ,just where you dont want it. You think you've got rid of it, then it comes back! You find the ultimate cure and its gone for good!

THANK GOODNESS! ;)

Lets resign Lowe to where he belongs! VERY DISTANT MEMORY! :smt078
