Best for me was the Norwich at home game, the noise when Camara scored was staggering.

Worst was the Leeds 4-3 at home. Never been so gutted in all my life.

I have just watched that video clip when HC scored, so agree that game and also Derby away, even though we went out on pens, Worst Game deffo losing to Leeds 4-3

Best game: Either 3-2 against Arsenal under WGS or the 3-2 against sheffield united in 2007 although another notable game for me was the carling cup 2-0 against birmingham in 2007 under poortvliet

Worst game: The burnley game last season was horrible despite fantastic efforts from the crowd but im sure there are many more to choose from but dont want to try and remember them

Best games: Saints 2-1 Watford, Saints 3-0 Pompey, Saints 3-2 Arsenal, Saints 4-3 Norwich

I may also say the Ajax game in preseason was a pretty special day.

Worst games: Tranmere 4-3 Saints, Saints 3-4 Leeds, Pompey 4-1 Saints, Saints 1-2 Doncaster (The scenes are St Marys were really bad that day - Fans against the club)

Best 1-0 v Manure 76 and worst def fratton away 1-4 never been so embarrassed in 43 years

1-0 against Manure in 1976? Just like to point out that this decade started in 2000 :D

Best game for me would probably be 3-2 v sheff utd

Worst game... Last season against Doncaster, really felt like one of the lowest points for our club with the fighting that went on inside the stadium:(

Best: 4-3 v Norwich (Camara) - for the excitement if not the skill; some of the defending was Sunday League standard! Also 3-2 v Sheff Utd and 3-2 v Arsenal at the Dell. Also enjoyed 3-1 v Spurs at WHL as Hoddle was sacked the following day. 4-2 at Chelsea was fun too...(Strachan)

Worst: any home game v Watford

I'll have a think about this over what will be a torturous Xmas eve meal with the family but i'm suprised no-one else has thrown in the 1-0 vs Leeds in 2007

Just because it really put the final nail in their coffin as well as putting us in the driving seat to make the playoffs - I still remember it was coupled with Hull equalising against Stoke which helped us and hindered them just as much.

I really hate Leeds.

Best: Watford (FA Cup Semi Final), Arsenal 3-2, Derby 3-2 (Play Offs)

Worst: Watford 5-2, Tranmere 4-3, Leeds 4-3. Charlton 5-0 (Remember Jones in goal)

Haven't seen a thread on this yet, if there has been I apoligies.

Charlton 5-0 was in August 98, so not in this decade. Still though a good shout as one of the worst games ever.

I still have nightmares of watching David Howells put on the keepers' gloves and then effectively falling over as a penalty whistled past him into the net. Not his fault, I know, as he wasn't a 'keeper, but it just made us look so......amateurish. Walking away from the ground was no fun either; Charlton fans are amongst the most aggressive, least gracious and contemptible supporters in the country. In my yellow away top I felt like a lone salmon swimming upstream against a tide of red Athletic shirts.....

About 21st January 2006;I still maintain that if Rupert had called Burley into his office the following Monday morning and sacked him (although he'd only been there a few weeks) we would not be where we are now.

Stand up if you want Lowe out

Never will I forget SMS rise as one like that

For the quality of the football on display, the 3-3 against Newcastle. All I remember is coming away from the ground thinking, "That's what football is all about!"

I can't remember a much of the game itself, other than two attacking teams battering the hell out of each other and possibly Leandre Griffit scored.

So many disappointments to pick. 2-3 Villa (H) from 2-0 up, 1-4 Skates (A), Man U relegation, 3-4 Leeds....

Just looked at our team that day, and despite being in the Premiership I'm not sure it's any better than the one we've got now!

Southampton: Blayney, Telfer, Lundekvam (Kenton 36), Hall, Crainey, Fernandes (Griffit 81), Folly, Anders Svensson, Prutton, Beattie, Ormerod (Phillips 74).

Subs Not Used: Poke, Blackstock

Probably the two that sticks out for me as the best/worst I've seen this decade. Spurs (4-0) was high on the list as well as was any wins over our friendly neighbours :D

Best?

Spurs 4-0 The best for out and out football, utterly humiliating the Spuds.

Arsenal 3-2 Just for being the perfect game...

Watford 2-1 I was just on such a high all day, amazing stuff...

I'm surprised the Sheffield United 3-2 hasn't got more of a mention, one of the best games I've ever attended!

Norwich 4-3 Pure blood pumping adrenaline packed magic

Worst?

Any game at Fratton park

Far too any too pick from all of our relegation years... so many truly horrible games...

Best: Arsenal 3-2 at the Dell, Coming back from 0-3 down to draw 3-3 against Liverpool earlier that season, beating the Skates 2-1 with the last minute Crouchy penalty, Norwich 4-3, Spurs 4-0,and as well as the 3-3 draw with Newcastle the 1-1 in the same fixture the season before was just as entertaining.

Worst: a few in the relegation season of 04-05,notably Villa and Everton at home, and losing 4-1 at Fratton. 'That' loss to Tranmere, Watford 5-2.
