Song for Jon Otsemobor

Son of Bob

Recommended Posts

Oh yes! For some odd reason I've always read and said his name as "Ostembor" which is totally wrong.

Always..? Christ almighty, you must have some varied conversations, mate. :D

And what is all this making up songs for players have been on the books for all of 5 minutes..? I'll look forward to the day when we trot out songs for kids who have just been scouted for down Shirley wreck. I mean, give the bloke a chance to prove himself before singing his praises.

What a load of nonsense. Used to be a day when we had a different song for every player Saints put out on the pitch. Didn't matter if they were any good or not, they were Saints players. Didn't expect you to make a comment like that, more like an Arizona comment.

TBF Bungle, you do seem to have a sad obsession with myself and a handful of other posters on this site. Now run along and worship sports personality of the year Phil Taylor.

Typical conversation with Bungle:

"In my opinion 2 + 2 = 3.99"

Bungle, "oh what a stupid, boring fool you are. Everyone knows 2 + 2 = 5, you're a moron"

Sorry, lost me mate!

What I meant was, was that you said, I always say Ostember [or whatever] instead of... [whatever else he's actually called].

I mean, I've only just heard of the bloke. I've yet to utter his name. Yet you write as if you talk about these obscure players on a regular basis.

No offence meant, just curious. :)

shot through the arse and whos to blame

and then something that rhymes with that :)

like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Q8qwOSSRhw

Shot in the arse, and who's to blame?

You give Liverpool a bad name.

Shot in the arse, and who's to blame?

You give full backs a bad name. (Perhaps one for the haters)

SHot in the arse and who's to blame?

You're called "Semi" coz you've half a brain. (See above)

Shot in the arse, and who's to blame?

At right back til Murty's back in the frame... (effing terrible)

Actually thats a little bit funny....a song by Max Bygraves, I think:confused:

mm..on second thoughts maybe it wasn't so funny !

Yes David, it was particularly irritating song by Max Bygraves played every week for years by Uncle Mac on Children's Favourites. It went something like:

There's a tiny house (children sing: There's a tiny house)

By a tiny stream (children repeat)

Where a lovely lass (children echo again)

Had a lovely dream (children ...)

And the dream came true quite unexpectedly in ...

Jonny Jonny Otsemobor-cassenella-vogan-by-the-sea.

I hated the song yet I can remember the words some fifty years on - funny thing memory!
