Tough one, between Connolly and Morgan for me. Ended up giving it to Morgan as occasionally DC's flicks didn't come off and he gave the ball away.Just a lack of match practice recently to blame for that though imo. Honourable mentions to Hooiveld and Cork also.

My nipper says Jos & I go Morgan. Only one vote though so it goes to Jos.

Your son gets it spot on most weeks! IMO.

Jos was superb, I think he won just about every header today. Cork stood out too, and I think the job Hammond does for us, especially considering the way we play, is seriously underrated.

Cork, absolutely bossed midfield. Connolly had a very good game - a goal and an assist, and never stoppede making brilliant runs. Didn't get picked out many times, but took defenders with him every time and opened it up for everyone else time after time

I won't vote, because as I've stated not being at the game and voting is propah nawty, but it looked like Cork was involved in everything good. Morgan scores so irregularly though, that he deserves an honourable mention.

S. Cotterill though... without his crudness we may have lost this. (Some funny comments on the NF forum too!)

With Championship standard finishing we may have lost this by HT, but Forest are sh*t at finishing, and Cotterill is sh*t at managing. Morgan should stick to really top class passing as it's what he does best, but fair play for having another dig despite fluffing a couple of chances

Watched on the live stream. I couldn't decide between Morgan, Cork or Hammond, all 3 were absolutely class. Went for Morgan for his goal. There actually wasn't a bad performance yesterday. The only downer was KD Distribution that yet again was woeful, but that's KD. Jos & Martin superb at the back. DC & Guly great up top. AL showing signs of getting back to the AL we know & love. Fox great down the left. Harding even better down the right. Funnily enough, I have never been a fan of Harding, but can remember him having a spell at right back under Alan Pardew and he was bloody brilliant then. Maybe he should play there more often.

A great display and hopefully this is us back on track.

All the side played well....as the MOTM shows particularly Cork , Morgan , Hammond , Jos and Connolly...

But I would endorse any other fan who gives praise to Martin...He is going to be a star..

I believe Martin has done us proud and is turning into a very good centre back and has soooooooo much potential..

Well done Saints...

If you can pass the ball well it usually means that you can strike it cleanly and accurately so when you're in shooting range you have have dig.Morgan has forced some pretty good saves this season but he's been airing the ball too much, same as Holmes and Hammond did yesterday,as I've said on another thread, down low, skipping and skidding is the way to go at the moment, either you beat the keeper outright or he pushes it out under a striker's feet.Once they've all cottoned on to this I think you'll see a whole lot more goals from our midfield, especially with the current tendancy to pack the box a bit that unsights keepers when the ball is coming low behind a forest of legs and coloured boots.White ball, black boots easy to spot, white, red and blue ball, white, red, blue, yellow, mauve boots...not so easy.
