West Ham vs Saints match thread

Started the game well, in control, but that's about it. We don't create enough, never look like scoring enough, and when Yoshida is at the back we will concede goals. That's not being harsh, just truth.

Maybe in the 2nd half we can pass the ball around a bit more, but perhaps in area's which mean something this time.

Shame about Yoshida as he has looked ok recently

We don't cteate.? We have had seven shots at goal so far only one on target. There lies the problem!

Not really, a relegation battle is way better for a spectator. This just sucks, literally don't care if we win or lose.

I find this a very strange thing to say. Not the first part as a relegation battle does get the heart pumping, but not caring if we win or lose? I do not understand this and cannot compute.

Lovren for Yoshida and Gaston for davis

or we will not win.

creating little, just sideways and getting a late cross in the box once they have 8 players back and they are looking to get it wide quickly

like stoke, we just cant beat genuine long ball sides

Let's hope MP sorts this out in the break

Don't hold your breath mate. He couldn't turn it around against Sunderland's second string and they would have gotten relegated in the championship.

Serious doubts emerging. He is achieving the bare minimum with this squad this season and only 1 win against a top 10 team. Cortese would likely have got rid in the summer if we only manager a 9th place finish and limp across the line at that.

MoPo is in serious danger of losing the fans after Sunderland, and a limp end of season like last year would mean most of us won't care if he leaves in the summer.

Honeymoon is coming to a close, the man needs to step up, starting this afternoon.

Alpine calling someone else a troll - the words pot, kettle and black spring to mind. We're in against an in-form West Ham side at their patch which we never play well at, we should take off Cork and bring on big Victor and take off Yoshida/Fonte for Lovren. Then if things stay bad use Ramirez as an impact subs in the last 20.

At the game. Pretty poor so far but by no means over. We just need to attack with a bit more speed and purpose IMO. Was there a hint of offside about Jarvis' goal? Hard to tell from behind the goal. Also' date=' Nolan is a ****.[/quote'] It was clearly offside, even seeing it from Ohio! ;)

Bit difficult with VW not on the bench.

Need a clean sweep during the summer, I've concluded.

MoPo was NCs man.

Bit nervous what direction we will go in then, but the current management is going to end in tears somewhen. Its best it happens at a time of our choosing.

For me we don'y attack quick enough and are not direct,we pass it around and lack the killer instinct teams higher than us have, nobody ever seems to want to have a pop they would prefer to walk it in.

We are a poor mans Arsenal at times
