A symptom of a right wing, gun-toting society?

Restraint is "his death shouldn't have happened, and while we should all unite, I'll carry Charlie's message". She carries the message of sadness and divide, not sadness and unity. She had a platform to promote some calm, not speak as she did the maga lot. A big chunk of her message is dedicated to asking people to join turning point USA in memory of her husband. Regardless, I'm not sure tone policing a widow in the immediate aftermath of the murder of her husband, no doubt whilst she's contemplating raising her children alone and potentially for the rest of her life is the way to go . Yeah maybe she could have said things a bit more calmly or differently but that's easy to say when it hasn't happened to you. Edited 2 hours ago by hypochondriac 3

An ineffective waste of time that doesn't deal with the root causes of an issue and instead dooms a society to repeat it again and again. Oh and guns in America are retarded.

She is talking about how the actions of his killers is going to push her to carry on his work. People are mocking his death online. She is restrained. I think that people are looking for an angle because of his political views. Unlike other high profile deaths I don’t think there will be social disorder despite the strength of feeling. So far we have seen vigils and prayers. Why would there be social disorder when a white gun totin' loon from a good ole' Christian family kills a racist white bloke who advocates for gun totin' loons from Christian families? 1

Indeed. Some groups just have lower impulse control and are more predisposed to disorder. 1
