Recieved E mail today from a friend who has connections with The Herald that Calvin has been offered a loan deal until the end of the season. This follows Sturrucks aim to strengthen his defence following recent Man U defender loan deal

Cannot gurantee that is is 100% , apperantly its in the players hands

Would be a real shame to see him go IMHO

A real shame, final nail in the coffin more like, also the last straw for me. On the plus point would mean there'd be a couple of tickets up for grabs for the Man Utd game!

I heard on saturady that Kelvin will not go anywhere before the end of the season and he is not prepared to uproot his little girl from school before the end of the year. Kelvin has reputedly told Rupes he is NOT going anywherte before the end of the season.

I've heard that Calvin won't be renewing his £5 subscription fee in 2009. A real shame for everyone involved with SFC.

Hope your right but, would he really need to uproot his family to move to Plymouth??

There's all ways to force players out, all Lowe has to do is explain that if he doesn't play ball, he'll be in the reserves!!

no-one can criticise his play or attitude, he is team captain. Jan raves about him. He talks openly about his desire to stay.

If he goes we are in real trouble - more than Cork, Surman, Saga, Rasiak, John, etc

IMHO If he goes it means we're in more trouble than just worrying about finding 11 players to fulfill a fixture

How times change hey...... a year ago, most of the users on this forum could not wait to be rid of Davis! :)

He is playing much better than last season. Now passing short, and long kicking to the wings, coming and getting crosses, added to his shot stopping is a much better goalkeeper.

In last years form he would have been no loss. Now he is vital.

He was actually excellent last year until he bust his finger and he was decent the year before. Since his error against QPR he has done very for us, shame it took fans years to forgive him for that mistake.

It wasn't the mistakes, it was the fact he almost never came off his line, when he did, he just flapped at the ball, or just got nowhere near it. He never passed short and kicked everything towards the big centre backs. By putting those things right he has made himself a much better keeper.

I was a big critic and if he hadn't improved, I would still be.

Can't see it happening, no way are we in that much ****.

What! have you been growing mushrooms for the last year? Apart from those clubs that have gone through administration and are hanging on by their finger nails, I can't think of a club with a more precarious foothold on the financial slide than ourselves. Whether or not the rumour is true, there is absolutely no doubt about the mess we are in.

Davis wouldn't care. He'd play reserve football for 6 months if it meant his daughter could stay settled.

156 miles and 3 hours 31 minutes according to the RAC route finder!

My point is its not Preston, Burnley.

Yes it would be a pain but a manageable pain. They don't train every day, when the do they start at 10 and are finished @ 2 so he could commute. Home and away games alternate, so away games he could meet them at the team hotel, home games stay over on the Friday night!

All do-able imo without up-rooting his family, I go to Cardiff, Reading, Barry, Manchester to work, put in an 8 hour day then drive home, my kids are still in school!

I love how people are trying to put themselves in Kelvin's shoes to try and come up with a convincing argument as to why he would stay or go.

You sad, sad people.

I can't see anyone doing that to be honest. I can see a couple of people comparing their working days to his, that's all.

Putting myself in Calvin's shoes I'd stay because, although there are more submariners to bum in Plymouth, we have a new Ikea here.

The new Ikea won't be open for a few months though. I think you need to factor that into the equation.

I'd be more concerned as to why you can't have understood any thread about KD, rather than CD going to Plymouth ;)
