Yep. The ones getting fleeced are the 77m morons who voted for him (no sympathy, hope he carries on robbing them senseless financially) and empathy with the 70m people who didn’t.

You’ve not seen anything yet - the grift will ramp up after the mid-terms, as they know they’re getting slung out in 2028. Will take them a long time to clean up their name and rebuild relationships (esp Canada) this time around.

A Grand Jury in Florida has found that the administration of Governor De Santis misappropriated $10M by switching it from a Medicaid fund to help poor children get health insurance to political action committees linked to De Santis' wife, and used to oppose a statewide ballot on legalising marijuana.

There’s a majority of Cuban and Venezuelan ex-pats and second generation who are very hardcore populists and vote for him and Trump in large volumes. They won’t bat an eyelid at him doing that. The first generation were instrumental in the JFK assassination and Watergate scandal so not a recent thing, Hence why Trump likes it there so much. Pity for the rest of Floridians who aren’t MAGA or exiles.

Donnie's third attempt to get his appeal against his Stormy Daniels fraud convictions moved from New York State Court to Federal, ( where his lawyers hope his Presidential immunity would cause the verdicts to be dismissed ), has been denied;

"Paying hush money to an adult film star or engaging in a cover-up of an embarrassment are not subsumed in presidential immunity,”  the Judge said.

Always a class act. I'd be curious about him funding a group behind getting his building to be the tallest. But we'd have known about it, from terror organisations targeting Trump to make good on the bounced cheques.

... which was another lie. 70 Pine Street would have been the tallest skyscraper in Manhatten, not Trump's building at 40 Wall Street.

If I recall, this is what led to him disgracefully mocking the disabled journalist who called him out on it at a rally during his first election campaign. 

That should have been the end of it right there, the moment when everyone who didn't already know twigged what an utterly deranged and morally bankrupt piece of shit he is.

I firmly believe in the old saying about when someone shows you who they really are, you should believe them the first time. But evidently 70-odd million Americans don't.

The people I know in Arizona are pretty mellow and never generally political and they fucking hate him. They do appreciate the massive changes in illegal immigration, but for the masses that is yesterday's news.

If his team win the next election, they claim they are leaving the USA. To be fair, they have been taking about moving back to the UK for many years, but this might be the extra motivation needed. Also, they are bemused with the intent on pushing massive AI data centres in their part of the USA and the damage it will do to the local community and the Colorado River. Granted, compared to us, local/regional mean different things.

That says everything about America and the state of its democracy. I doubt their voters will even think for a second about who is paying for it or what the trade off is afterwards. $5k - I might lose my healthcare and die within 2 years long before my time - but let’s grab the money in the here and now.
