Reopen applications from abroad, and pass a law that anyone that comes across illegally is removed to country of origin irrespective of refugee status. 2. Rejoin the EU and take everything that comes with that, including the Euro and free movement of people if need be, and then ensure that we continue what we did before in removing using the Dublin agreement. 3. Start funding education in the countries that are the biggest issues, as well as tackling global inequality that pushed economic migrants towards Europe. Other solutions are just sticking plasters. Winnersaint Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Twitter has been a little more strange than normal today. Its almost if they're willing something to happen. Bat shit crazy doesn't even go close to describing some of the shit posted from the doxxing of RNLI crew to the threats of retribution to those regarded as traitors. Think I prefer the pre social media days when the odd loony would sit alone in the bedroom of their mum's house and ponder these things on their own.

The only way to stop the boats would be to go back in the EU or have an arrangement with France similar to the Dublin agreement. For that to happen I expect we would have to accept a certain amount of genuine asylum seekers from the EU. There is no cheap and easy fix to this issue. At least Labour seem to be doing a better job than the Conservatives ever did - remember it was a Conservative government that started this problem. 1

That's where the confirmation with their countries come in - this is what takes the time at the moment with applications, it's verifying they are who they say they are. However, the point is, and I'll repeat it, that they cannot claim asylum here, so it's irrelevant, they will never be allowed to stay, and they will stay in detention until they return. It's the deterrent that is needed. 1

Without the support of the majority of the people living here, we have no chance of solving the immigration issues facing us and Starmer, with a mandate of 32%, has recently made that eventuality impossible, with his disgraceful speech blaming the far right. The solution is simple to me. Leave the ECHR, and also adopt a pure jus sanguinis approach to citizenship that prevents the automatic right to the children of immigrants to this priceless benefit, just because their mother gets pregnant in our country. This way, we can deport any immigrant or child of an immigrant, IF they commit a serious crime, after they've done the time. This policy is not uncommon and as you can see from the list of countries, there are many socialist states, such as Norway, that have this policy. This won't happen though. Too many pearl clutching, champagne swilling socialists, with their sticky fingers on the levers of power appealing to the unelected pressure groups and MSM. Just a minor point. Anyone seeing the police getting the shit kicked out of them at Madchester Airport, a partial and unrepresentative video of which caused the recent Leeds riots, might ask themselves how immigrants fleeing an unsafe country get to fly back from them, after their holidays in these "unsafe" countries. Mate, we are getting taken for mugs. On my infrequent visits to this site, I thought, after the Southampton/Portsmouth riots (I've seen/participated in, more "thuggish" violence at the derby games, back in the day) that it was worth taking a stroll down memory lane. Things don't seem to have moved on much, following the above post of mine, apart from the country being closer to a civil war than ever. Pick your side, ladies and don't say you weren't warned.
