Perhaps in the interest of inclusivity and loving your neighbour Saints might allow a pitchside presentation of his wig on Sunday

Fan zone is open at 9.30am, would be odd if they're not serving any beer at that time.

My first memory of this lot is as a 4 year old boy, innocently wearing saints shorts, and having a grown Pompey fan shout abuse at me.

My first Saints Pompey game they abused the minutes silence for Mr Southampton before a ball was kicked.

My first trip to Fratton in 2011 saw a coin whistle past my temple when they equalised late on. 
 

This lot are the pits. We have to win, and win well.

I was in the Fratton End at that game. I was with a mate for uni and is Navy officer dad. Was wetting myself and all I could do was just look at them and....smile n wink. In their local that night full of upset skates. I went on to beat all their pub darts team to an extent where they refused to play me anymore....great two memories.

Loads are opening 09am, the two Wetherspoons open at 08am (Giddy, Standing Order) , if you have a particular pub you usually go to give them a call, most usual football pubs will be, lots at 9am few others 10am 

Fan zones now confirmed 09.30am , I personally prefer pubs to that but still an option. 

Biggest issue Sunday is rubbish transport with station closed and weather looks rubbish will put a dampener on the build up

Just to make everyone aware there's a ticket available on the exchange, bang on the halfway line in the kingsland. I was going to nab it myself but I don't know if I could do a Pompey game sat down, I was hoping there was a Northam or Chapel ticket available.

 

Edit; bollocks, changed my mind half a second later and someone else got in there before me it's gone already 😂

I thought he was banned? When are theclub actually going to follow through with this. Im sure if a Saints fan urinated on the seats in fullview there is no way they would ever escape the ban.

From Eastleigh replacement bus takes 1 hour, plus the time queuing up for the bus or two buses, then additional time waiting for bus to return white in queue. SWT do say that replacement bus is only provided if coaches avaliable and shortage of drivers could impact if a busis provided. As all coaches will be booked for away fans I'm not relying on SWT.

never understand why people get a bus from eastleigh, walk round the corner to the taxi rank and grab a taxi from there and it's under a tenner to the city center.

Cost? Want to use their bus pass? Mind you, it would make sense if there is a group of you. 

Personally I'm not going to get the train service to Fratton and a dodgy replacement bus service, so I'll drive. But please can we win so I can go back to my local pub and gently wind them all up as I celebrate..

  • We have a good squad we have now, it is big
  • A good injection of quality and good people as we could not have anyone just walking through the door
  • lots of competition for places at a big club
  • This will help us be hyper-competitive
  • We will be demanding, this is a big club and we must use the full strength to win as many games as we can
  • I did not want another striker. Damion is adapting, and we have proven good players for this league with him
  • There are a lot of good players that with the quality we brought in will turn the xG into goals
  • The club are not putting pressure on Damion, it is difficult to adapt. 
  • Just because we bought in this quality does not mean we will roll over most teams, we have to work, and work hard
  • There has been a big turnover in personnel, which was needed
  • We must put a shift in to make this work, and all know this. 
  • We must give Damion, Casper and Leo time to adapt
  • Only Wellington inured, Damion still not back, should be tomorrow
  • Everyone else has been here or drip fed back into training
  • Their manager has done an incredibly good job. He is an interesting manager
  • They are hyper-efficient, structured and organised.  They will be aggressive, but they are a good team
  • With the help of the club and the people around. The players understand what this games means
  • Ex players have been here to paint the picture. The new comers know what this game means
  • Let's be honest, this game means more to the city and supporters. But we have to win
  • We have got to stop conceding these poor, rubbish goals, but this game the players are fully aware
  • It is vital that the players remain focused, no use getting sent off, and they know that
  • We have to play as we want to play. We want this game, this is what is all about.
  • We are favourites for this, that is part of being at Southampton in this league being at a big club and dealing with it.

When asked about being favourites on Sunday, Will just said “we are Southampton and we are a big team, we will be favourites against most of the teams we play in this league and that’s just where we are and the way it is really”.

I'm coming down from London on a train around 7ish precisely for this reason.

Might even be a few skates if they're heading to the Winchester drop off point. Could be a lively journey

He's correct the bookies have us odds on Pompey 4/1 and now 3rd for promotion. But that's just on someone's opinion in reality we are evens for all games until we get on a run of 5 wins. With 9 new players and the ru we have had plus xg on last season we cant be fav

They knew what they were doing. You can hear 'Blue Army' at the beginning of the video.If the Pompey fans had kept quiet, they'd have been left alone and if they had, believe me, they'd have been boasting how they'd taken a scummer pub unchallenged.  

Westwood is already putting a spin on it it in the Portsmouth News, saying he was on his own outside and the Saints fan ran past him before he could catch him.

 

Also, to the point about the kid being nearby, what sort of prick not only gets dressed up in full Skate regalia and goes to a game in Southampton a week before the derby when emotions are going to be at their highest, but also knowingly puts a kid in danger by bringing them with them while they do it? That is on him. 

He and the dickheads he was with knew exactly what they were doing. They took a kid with them while they went looking for trouble, and found it. They should probably think themselves lucky that the worst they got was just a little splash from a plastic cup and being filmed shitting themselves, to be honest.
