SWLondon Saint Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago They will definitely double up or more on Scienza second half, big chance for someone else to step up here.

SNSUN Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I left home for work after the Archer chance on around 20 minutes, sounds like we did better after that. Bench is strong, we can still get the 3 points here. UTS

AlexLaw76 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) 5 minutes ago, Patches O Houlihan said: That is no fault of Still The Formation The Style of Play It is down to the rub of the green and the composure of the players with the shots First 20-25 mins was crap, many of our shots were from around the edge of the area with a packed defence. Not sure we even tested the keeper. That was largely down to our overloads being won on our defensive 3rd as the half went on, we started to win the ball back, by a tackle or their sloppy play, inside their half, which is immediately seeing overloads further up the pitch, thus we started getting their defenders facing their own goal more (Leo?) remember, we are playing a pretty crap side here, and do not believe a single member of their team would make our matchday squad. Hodgey Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Very encouraging, took a while to get going but Jelert and Scienza are creating a lot on both flanks and defensively we look watertight. should be 2-0 up. The concern is if Swansea change tactics, if not it’ll come. 1

Unforgivable but who is to blame? Seems like Still has set them up very well and we should be way ahead. Is that his fault? 1
Jack Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago 9 minutes ago, Convict Colony said: honestly the amount of balls in the box is excellent, the conversion not so much. Assume Downs comes on for Archer as the first change. Welly and Leo running the show down the left. Jellert and Jander and charles playing well Surely we’ve seen enough of Downs to know there’s absolutely zero point getting him on the pitch unless we’re cruising and the game is won

Willo of Whiteley Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Score four or five and then give Downs a run out to see if one bounces in off his arse.

Plenty of the chances in the first 30 mins were from range and/or against a packed defence, hence why the keeper was barely, it at all, tested. let’s see if the last 15 mins or so was our usual purple patch or we go on. Willo of Whiteley Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Good officiating. Need more of that, always a yellow for delaying the free kic
Sheaf Saint Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Blackmore not sure what Vipotnik got booked for. Really? 1
AlexLaw76 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Again, that shot from Scienza. On paper another shot for the stats, but incredibly hard chance Edited 19 hours ago by AlexLaw76
Saint_clark Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago That's disgusting from Vipotnik. Surely should be a yellow for simulation?
Saint NL Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Shea Charles did nothing wrong there, their player tried to get him booked 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Swansea’s keeper and defenders just had a bit of a “discussion” with each other. Again, good referring with Swansea’s number 9 being a dick.
Saint_clark Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago The fuck is the point in the linesman if they're not going to say what they've seen there. Spineless.
coalman Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I honestly think if you're found guilty of that stupid a dive then you have to stand there while the biggest bastard in the other team gets to twat you as hard as they can 1

Jack Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Deep crosses to our absent centre forward really aren’t going to work. Got to fizz it in low surely when we get high and wide 2
Saint NL Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Commentator doesn't realise you can foul without getting booked
obelisk Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Swansea pressing Saints defence in the knowledge that a mistake will come eventually.
The Kraken Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago We’re not too far away from the Will Still substitute shuffle.
AlexLaw76 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) See, now (helped by our shape) they are stepping up a lot more, creating bigger gaps between our attack and the rest (hence the long passes again). ie, the shape has, as per, surrendered midfield Edited 19 hours ago by AlexLaw76
Willo of Whiteley Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Sky commentator: Southampton have Damion Downs on the bench, he’s certainly a tall person they could do with. Jaws was a tall person in James Bond, doesn’t mean he’s got any footballing ability. 2 2
Stripey McStripe Shirt Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Bloody hell this is tedious time wasting at the corner.
Challenger Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Thanks to our inability to score from a plethora of first half chances, Swansea now have a platform to time waste and niggle a result from this. 2
