SaintLondon Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago FA thunder being stolen here... If they were hoping to make an example of us, whatever happens, we're now down the news agenda. This City announcement has blown Tonda's case out the water.

You can't hate these people enough. They can't touch City, but they can show they have teeth. What a load of shit. Couldn't even find any info on the BBC, its a non story. Top of the prem. New manager. New hair cut. Leave them alone. I'm really quite tired of this now. BBC has picked it up now, main headline on BBC Sport and BBC news sites. 1
coalman Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) That's all well and good about City but the FA are still kicking Saints out of the league aren't they? Asking for my friend, Karen, from the north east. Edited 1 hour ago by coalman 5

rallyboy Posted 57 minutes ago Posted 57 minutes ago Good news....they can't go slapping Tonda with a lengthy ban while failing to punish City. Either they're getting liquidated or Tonda's getting three matches. 4

qwertyell Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago Maybe this Lord Pannick isn't quite as formidable as advertised. Just expensive. Or he used to be good until we hired him, then he immediately turned to shit. A Saints tale as old as time. 2

sfc4prem Posted 43 minutes ago Posted 43 minutes ago Can we take City to court for the FA Cup Semi-Final? 4
Willo of Whiteley Posted 39 minutes ago Posted 39 minutes ago They still won’t kick Man City out of the league because of the money they bring in. Have a day off! If they kicked them out I’m sure Sky would kick up a stink given the millions of pounds invested in these clubs including Man City. They get a monumental fine and a transfer ban for a year. 1

Are seriously suggesting that Man City's (alleged) 115 financial breaches had the potential to have changed the outcome of actual football matches over the best part of 10 years? Surely that kind of thing is only the result of someone stood on a road with an iPhone? Hasn't this recently be proven when Chelsea were only given a paltry fine for numerous breaches of their own? I think a simple "don't do it again" is all that's needed. 2 3
Osvaldorama Posted 37 minutes ago Posted 37 minutes ago The repercussions could be massive? Almost every club in the pyramid has been impacted by flagrant cheating. It’s way worse than anything we did

die Mannyschaft Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago Man City will just get a fine and appeal most charges and win. Law is all about looking for loop holes and discrepancies in text of law. City have endless money to employ 20 layers to look through paragraphs of law and come up with a load of points of law. Saints are bargain basement and over spent on budget. 2

Unless City get expelled from the Prem perhaps which could lead to players finding contract loopholes. Financially I expect they can cope with anything thrown at them. Will be interesting to see how this one turns out. 1

Saint86 Posted 4 minutes ago Posted 4 minutes ago 1 hour ago, Pilchards said: They will fight and beat these charges because they will put up a better fight than the shitty one we put forward. FACT….!! Mate, they are done as a club. Burnley sued everton over one season and have been awarded nearly £40M. Every single club that was in the prem over that period will have a legal case against them. European clubs can sue them.... And that ignores the sporting sanction. You could make an argument for them being drop kicked out of the Football League. 1

I think they will have a problem if they hammer one club for 3 relatively minor offences which had little effect on the games involved and go easy on another club for 115 serious offences which clearly gave them a huge advantage financially over a longer period of time.

Where's our legal team? They should be in the media all over the FA.

The FA needs to start with a sincere and protracted apology for the inconvenience before they politely suggest City thinking briefly about not doing it again.

Can't wait for the huge pile on from BBC, Sky, MSM and pundits up and down the country. What we did was like comparing a bit of shoplifting to a mass murder. It's going to be big 🙂
