This angle shows the Norwegian touched the ball. It's still a penalty, but why wasn't the ref shown this angle? And didn't the snicko thing confirm "no touch"?

It's all just a bit flakey

Far better for England to face Norway………. I think

Extra incentive for the England players before the big game tonight

Don't know why people are happy, if we get thrown through then Norway will be a much tougher test than Brazil. In fact I think Norway knock us out.

I generally want European countries to do well. And actually really like Norway as a country. Although disagree tougher than Brazil

Not sure. This Brazil team are absolutely nothing like the quality of what’s gone before them. Norway are well organised and have some proper quality too.

I was going to write exactly that. In the world cup, Europe first for me (and Norway is a lovely country).

I look forward to revisiting this conversation after seeing our centrebacks up against Haaland.

I think Mexico knock us out.

Another for Erling!

Starting to wish I'd put my money where my mouth is and put a bet on Norway now. I don't get many things accurate but having them as my dark horses this year, and now they're in the Quarters in a winnable tie against us or Mexico.

Yah they should have too much but Norway are organised and in Odegard and Haaland have two players who can change games they’ve got a chance

Just saying 😉

I love his ho hum shoulder shrug celebration!

Why didn’t he choose to play for England. Sob

It's ok, whenever Kane retires there's always Cameron Desmond Archer or Dom Ballard coming through to replace him. 😝😳

You can file with my hundreds of other terrible predictions. I have no pride!

With all the shenanigans going on - all the shithousery - all the cheating and you just wonder what hope England have got tonight in Mexico. Reckon FIFA will make sure Mexico have every advantage they possibly can have - the narrative will not allow an England win. Will it?

I loved that. Great game, the Norwegians were brilliant. Their keeper was something else, and Haaland is a special player.

I only switched on in the 75th minute, good timing! Both goals as the cross / pass came towards him it just felt like everyone was thinking 'He couldn't, could he...?' Yes. Yes he could.

The David Squires cartoons with him as a Nordic death robot are just genius.

Dang, I hadn't considered that. Will probably see some dodgy decisions.

I thought Brazil were really poor considering the players they had available and such a shrewd experienced manager.

Just looked up the Norway keeper, spent a lot of his career journeyman back-up at places like Reading and Norwich- funny old game ain’t it.

I don't think this Brazilian team was that good. Vini jr is the only world class player going forward.

The Norwegian manager said at half time that Brazils biggest threat was on the break/counter attacks and gave the instruction to "Just play them to death" - it should have been the other way around.

We are still the only team that have never lost to Brazil (3w 2d).
