AlexLaw76 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Egypt are crap, Australia fucking crap Argentina next for Mo. Fecking hell, Argies have an England/Southagte like run-up to the Semi finals. Edited 1 hour ago by AlexLaw76
die Mannyschaft Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago That was a useless keeper sub. Egypt in last 16 bloody hell makes Germany look even more crap.

AlexLaw76 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Anyone watching BBC News and the moron they have reporting in Mexico? 1
skintsaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Easy to look at the weird GK sub on that game, but fuck me that first pen was awful, especially from one of your most experienced players. Thought he played well otherwise. The young lad was always going to miss, he didn't look at the keeper/goal once we noticed during the whole penalty routine.

Window Cleaner Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Doesn't matter anyway. Sides like Australia have no place beyond the group stages of the WC. Back to 32 teams, top 2 in 8 groups of 4 to progress. Some of these games are an embarrassment. Just read on the Beeb that no asian zone side has ever won a knock-out game outside of Asia. They're not football nations although Japan do at least try. Edited 54 minutes ago by Window Cleaner

Beach had an excellent game and was in the zone. Popovic should have stayed with the goalie who got the team to the verge of victory. Terrible decision. 2

As was said in build up commentary, whatever happens, Capo Verde win. If they somehow get through what is probably their ‘final’ they’ll be celebs for life.

Be nice if Cape Verde won, but almost certainly won't happen. If it was Argentina v a top team (e.g. top 20 in the world) I'd have been more inclined to watch as a neutral.

No, if there are good goals i'll look at them on the rediffusion. Don't watch night games live.

Fair enough - to be fair I’ll probably nod off, but as it’s once every four years it’s rude not to!

die Mannyschaft Posted 21 minutes ago Posted 21 minutes ago On paper Argentina 10-0 Cape V. Entire ground is Argentina fans.
die Mannyschaft Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago Cape doing ok not troubled by Argentina so far.
die Mannyschaft Posted 12 minutes ago Posted 12 minutes ago First Messi shot on 14 mins and he made a mess of that.
