Saint NL Posted yesterday at 20:05 Posted yesterday at 20:05 QPR 1-0 up at half time away to West Ham. QPR second as it stands. Nice if the hammers can drop a few points

Pamplemousse Posted yesterday at 20:31 Posted yesterday at 20:31 Jammy West Ham. They just seem to find a way even when they don't deserve it

Ted Bates Statue Posted yesterday at 20:52 Posted yesterday at 20:52 (edited) Pierce Charles double save from a Jarrod Bowen penalty, what a hero Edited yesterday at 20:53 by Ted Bates Statue
Britannia Posted yesterday at 20:53 Posted yesterday at 20:53 The Brothers Charles are made of something else.
DellBlockH Posted yesterday at 21:02 Posted yesterday at 21:02 West Ham couldn't beat what was effectively nine men for the last 10-15 minutes, with both QPR fullbacks more or less passengers.
Saint Pete Posted yesterday at 21:04 Posted yesterday at 21:04 (edited) Good result to start the weekend. 👍 We can narrow the gap to West Ham to just 3 points if we win Sunday. Edited yesterday at 21:05 by Saint Pete

And people, to a degree understandably, were proclaiming everyone else were also rans after they hammered Wrexham. Still hope it can get toxic again if they slip. There is a lot of hate for Nuno waiting to bubble up.
saintant Posted yesterday at 21:41 Posted yesterday at 21:41 West Ham showing they are not all they are cracked up to be. They looked poor tonight and, considering many feel they'll run away with this league, it just goes to show they are not head and shoulders above the rest and it promises to be a close race among those looking to make the top 2. 1

I agree if West Ham have a dip for a few games it is very likely the fans will turn on the manager just as they have with previous managers. So I definitely don't think then going up in the top 2 is the done deal that some seem to assume. 1
spyinthesky Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Impressed with QPR. Seemed to be well organised in defence and threatening on the break. 1

Perhaps a JWP masterclass up there in a Saints win will rack it up a bit for them, wondering why ‘Baldy’ saw fit to persecute a good player

Willo of Whiteley Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Not the best set of results across the Championship today - if we win tomorrow against Pompey though it’ll be largely forgotten.

Patrick Bateman Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Notice Harwood-Bellis not even on the bench for Villa again. Such a weird purchase for them. Edited 5 hours ago by Patrick Bateman 3
goodymatt Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Our two defeats have come against 2 poor performing sides, very frustrating. Do wonder how much the cloud over Tonda has affected things, especially in away games. Hopefully we win tomorrow and kick on.

Frustrating from a Saints point of view to lose such a key player for him to not even be playing (other than their league cup game). 1

Early days, long way to go. We need a good performance and comfortable win tomorrow to set us up for a tough midweek trip to Norwich. A 9 point week would be fantastic with Bolton coming to St Marys next weekend. That would put us in a strong position.

Willo of Whiteley Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Russell Martin football has rubbed off on Man United, Spurs spurning chance after chance and every goal kick MU trying to play out from the back and getting caught every time.

Lighthouse Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I will never in my life understand players going in with these faux headbutts. I don't want to actually harm my opponent but I do want to get sent off for it. Smart move.
Britannia Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If RDZ is dismissed, who would they? Spurs seem to have an endless carousel of managers.

Colinjb Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Bizarre equaliser. Actually, thought it went straight in, but very slight touch from Solanke. Edited 3 hours ago by Colinjb
Britannia Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Solanke header but the goalkeeper didn't seem to move. Edited 3 hours ago by Britannia
