Am I alone in thinking Lallana was really good? Lallana, Milner, Cahill and Rooney. I'd start those 4 against Germany. It's weird, this was a match where it was obvious to see how good Rooney is and how he's in a class of his own in the England team, bar perhaps Gerarrd. Add Gerrard to the 4 above and that'd be quite nice.

Johnson is an awful right back. Jones is, not a very competent centre back. Baines isn't as good as Cole. Lampard, "bless him", should step down now as he's looking past it. JRod, unfortunately, isn't ready for this. I like the idea of continuing to see Wilshire, Rooney, Lallana and on current form, Milner. Shame Gerarrd isn't playing today.

That's the most wonderful sentence I've read for some time! I just hope we can keep this up as a club.

No. Puncheon is a very good player and had a great purple patch for us last year and as tw*tty as it feels to say this, we're now playing beyond his "level".
-
Honestly? A bit p*ssed off as it's now an Americanisation, although we were obviously Southampton St Marys in the 1800s anyway ... no, wouldn't be keen.

+Surman, Steve Guppy and Jutkiewicz.

Agreed - it wasn't the best atmosphere by any means. The second half especially was like a library for the first 10 minutes or so - then the continuous OWTS started and it picked up again. Still, the Kolo/Yaya Toure song isn't as dreadful as that generic song that Hull were singing and Swansea and and and.

He was faultless today, absolutely stunning - what a player!

Fantastic, thank you for sharing!! Audrey looks stunning in colour, but the real eye opener for me is the bomb test - seeing how clear the water actually was and how idyllic it was, amazing.

For the first time ever I've used the block function on here. My forum viewing is so much more pleasurable without seeing Barry and Glasgow to name just two that have been removed. I only see the interesting posts now.

Agreed and not just at academy level. For years we've suffered the "won't play for England/national team while at Southampton" syndrome and in Morgan's case, that is still so. But finally we may start to shake off that tag, which may also hopefully mean we get to keep them for longer as they don't get their eyes opened up by other teams (Theo/Alex to Arsenal etc).

Yep. And anyone who couldn't see that after tonight is blind, or stupid. I've watched him a few times in the U21s, in a couple of cup matches and he offers, well, not a lot. Weird signing and needs to go.
-
Agreed. I feel gutted though as (like others) I was so excited when we signed him.

So, Tadanari Lee? I honestly don't know what to make of him. What I do think is that he probably won't feature again, ever, unless we draw some lower league team in the FA Cup 3rd round.

Serie A to Premiership - success stories?

Has she played in Italy?? Wow, didn't know that. -
Do you have a job? Are you stuffed in a bedroom hiding from Mum? I honestly don't get how people (not just you) can spend so much time on here and reading other team's forums. Bit odd.

We have all the pace anyone could want; haven't we still got Jonno Forte on the books?

Hackett or Boss jackets for me, personally - like the fit, love the quality of both. There are loads I could purchase from here; http://www.hackett.com/men/shop-by-product/coats-jackets

Can you see us conceding 2 having only conceded 3 so far? 1-1 maybe, 0-0 more likely, yes ... but I don't think we'll let in 2.

Quota's, number's and the liberal count

I would say that's still a public sector thing though. I don't ever see that sort of line in jobs for what I do, but when I peer in (for instance) the Sunday Times and look at the public sector appointments, it's often mentioned there. It's not needed, at all. Best person will get the job, simple as that. We no longer live in the 70s (and even 80s) where discrimination was rife and HR slack. I mean god, you can't ask anything personal at all anyway - although most people volunteer that kind of info I've found. -
I'm in the "would love him to come good, but would take the money and get a replacement in if not good by summer, camp"

Yes, agreed. Benefit should stop after the 2nd child.

The only times recently I've seen Zaha play is for England U21s and on that basis, no, I wouldn't want him on loan. Berahino and Redmond were both better all round players and agreeing with whoever said it, but I'd give Rowe and Sinclair a go first.
