Unless some other team comes in for him as he is showing what he can do now (ok, far fetched I know)!

three minutes to go!

Pepe.

If Hull couldn’t change from Hull City to Hull Tigers what makes you think Saints could change theirs? Besides the league has changed since money was king - look at Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Manchester City and United etc, even West Ham are no longer the Boleyn club of old.
-
A chance to get something but let’s see if the players take the same approach as the Everton match or take the game to Arsenal.
-
This has been key on top of our only two wins against teams reduced to 10 men with our best creative player in the side. It shows how much extra work the side need to put in just to be able to compete, let alone win matches.

Part of the get players in quick strategy, many clubs who suddenly have money to spend so this. He did well at Leicester. -
A combination of good timing of new manager and decent fixture list in both situations which galvanised the squad (new manager) and other factors (Swansea implosion from the pressure, Huddersfield and Cardiff being awful and not scoring enough) that helped.
-
First time since our return to the top flight I think we are in real danger of going down. With the Gao lies, the January transfer window will pass without any players/staff to address our deficiencies so it’s down to what the squad is now. It seems Norwich and us will fight it out for bottom place and there will be a fight for 18th place which will hamper any revival. Newcastle, West Ham, Watford and perhaps Palace will fight it out for that place.

A couple of analysts have also left over the last six months.

Why not and let the players coach themselves and save another wage.
-
If he’s pot-less and relies on money generated by the club, why is he wasting it on terrible and relative expensive transfers? All he has for his money is the club so he needs to make it worth more to get any profit. Better to focus on infrastructure and coaching as that has a better ROI than speculating on £15-£20m players with what seems limited background checks. Especially as there are players with lower transfer fees that have similar potential.

The new approach as the moderately expensive players haven’t worked out and there is no way the club will spend more. Not long before we know... seven days or less [emoji2957] -

Decent article about saints and our troubles

Can you imagine the impact of one, Ralph resigning (not being sacked) and two, having Kelvin or someone similar in charge [emoji38] -
I’m sure the lads could make it two matches!
-
Why not? New game, encouragement would be the best response followed by deprecating/gallows humour if it turns into Friday the second. If they do put in a good response that is something to cheer.
-
We used to be good at prioritising the coaching and recruitment so we could compete above our means. Unless we get back to that, it’ll be relegation. Does Ralph have a good plan on how to play which the players buy into, or will there either be a compromise or a don’t pick me I can’t/will not play that way?

Players and staff donate ONE DAYS Wages to Saints Foundation
Doctoroncall replied to Noodles34's topic in The Saints
I think that highlights the issue extremely well. For most of us £200k is a big deal, the players will not miss it from earning £50k a week. If they had donated a weeks worth I’d have been impressed. Also, I’m sure there are plenty of us that donate time and money to good causes, probably on a par to our own day’s wage in a year/season. I wonder if they are worried about more results like this happening? [emoji3064] -
Local teams don’t matter... it’s not GO DALLAS! But GO COWBOYS!! If football is your thing but think the top division has sold its soul, there are other local teams lower down the football pyramid that need you.

I cannot wait for next week’s games!

Full-time: Celtic 2-1 Lazio Christopher Jullien’s goal is the winner – but only after Fraser Forster makes a world-class stoppage-time save to deny Cataldi a scorching leveller.
-
Unless we can shackle their midfield which has always been our issue. Also their full backs are playing extremely well, I’d place them in the top two of the league and need to be engaged by our inside forwards using space between them and their centre backs. Our full backs can then push up to help the midfield.

Any win is good! Unless you mean it keeps Jackett in a job and baying pack at bay. Lincoln are struggling with one win in 11 so it wasn’t unexpected.
