Surely by the same logic a home fans human rights are being violated by being potentally put in a situation where he may be put in danger. Secondly Sec 4 POA (public order act) makes it an offence to put someone in situation whereby an assault is likely to occur. By that definition the chief officer on the scene was committing an offence under Sec 4 POA?

Not in any way making judgement for or against any person who may or may not have been involved in this reported incident. However a lot of wounds to hands and arms are also the result of defensive actions not just aggressive. Especially when a person is defending themselves against assault by weapon, (knife, bottle, police casco etc.)

A huge number of football clubs are in dire financial peril, yet they carry on in the same blinkered manner, like turkeys looking forward to Christmas because they refuse to change their outdated ways of operating. Yet when a person becomes chairman of a football club and begins to install financial practices that are both sensible and the norm in any other industry he gets hounded by a certain few because of him trying to instill proper solid financial foundations to the club.

So what are the facts in this case:- As far as I can ascertain, Mr. Mitchell (bournemouth Chairman) who has previously stated things on radio that turn out to be false. Now states that he is banned from St. Mary's, Directors box. NC states that he is not banned but is not altogether welcome due to misinformation spouted by Mitchell during the Manager interview process. However several posters on here whom to others would seem to have an adgenda against NC, have taken the words of a truely unreliable person and used them in a continued attack on their clubs own Chairman.

Its not just the lack of goals.... Last night he just was not interested.... I thought at first he was carrying an injury and was just there because without Barnard we have no other options, but he just wandered around, no interest in running, challagining or anything else football related. He was shocking truly shocking.

The fans do not ultimately hire or fire anyone regardless of how vociferous they are. If the board decide to listen to 'the mob' and fire someone, I am sure the same 'mob'' would not have chosen the cheap option for his replacement. The board is responsible NOT the mob.

As FF has alread stated, to predict how this season/Adkins will turn out is mostly guesswork with a small amount of intuition/knowledge thrown in. Adkins does appear to have all the right credentials to get us promotion. How long will it take him to 'bed-in' (maybe the wrong term in this situation). However we have seen other mmanagers parachuted into clubs in dire straights late in seasons and seen them survive. At least Adkins has 7/8's of the season left to run. Still plenty of time for promotion if he has all the attributes that we all hope he has. This club is never boring I'll give it that.

Mrs LS was actually born in Skatesmouth because that was the nearest maternity hospital to Porchester where her Skate Father lived.
