  1. Exactly it's all about the size of fish and the size of pond, in the prem we were always a small fish in a massive pond but now in league one we are the giant fish, as loads have poeple have pointed out we are no longer a prem side but our financial muscle power and fan base make us one of th big boys of this league we should be putting away some of these lesser sides and we are not something is very wrong.
  2. Shame he missed the paragraph where he says he was shocked by his own performance in the dugout and won't make the mistake of utilising Wotton ever again and will stop his petty hate campaign aginst Holmes and Gillett and give them both a fair chance?
  3. Why 4 managers a season? I wouldn't want to sack one that was getting us points? Blindly standing by a manager who thinks Wotton is better than Gillett and Mellis and Mills better than Holmes is ridiculous. The team are badly setup, poorly prepared and his substitutions are laughable. 9 points from 10 games is relegation form in any league even when you start level with everyone else!
  4. My knife is already drawn, if we loose again on the weekend expect half the crowds knives to be out. Relegation form, which is unquestionably what we are showing is not acceptable from this expensively assembled squad. We can't afford to entertain Pardews failings for long every missed win pushes us further into the relegation battle that we are already up too our necks in.
  5. Parew has one of if not the most expensive squad in the league and even if you ignore the points deduction we are showing all the form of relegation candidates, say what you like about lack of pre season and the -10 hanging round our necks but put quite simply we have not been good enough one lucky win all season is all he has produced. He continues to overlook Holmes and Gillett in favour of Mills, Mellis and Wotton which but simply is stupid when everyone can see who the better players are, substitutions last night were a joke. Face it people we are deep in a relegation battle and we need change now.
  6. I'd sack him this morning, the form of the team is shocking, we are in a relegation fight already and people don't seem to be registering it. There are enough people at the club with managerial experience at this level to have a good go while we search for thr right man. Lets face it they would be hard pushed to get worse results out of League 1's most expensively assembled side. Maybe they'd even realise that Holmes is better than mellis and mills and Gillett is better than Wotton?
  7. PARDEW OUT. That is all.
  8. I have a sneaky suspicion from reading bettween the lines in Pardews comments that we won't see Oscar in a saints shirt again, hope I'm wrong but thats my gut feeling.
  9. Below the premiership he has an excellent record so I would suggest even in his twighlight years he should be good at this level allthough his recent injury record is a concern.
  10. but as has been pointed out no pace what so ever. I think the dig that was made was more at the general perception on this website that we always need something we haven't got, for ages what we needed was a 20+ goal a season striker then when we got one what we needed was a striker who ran around like a headless chicken which was what we had before. People then moaned about our total lack of mobile centre halves and then once they retired moaned about our lack of hard as nails none shall pass types. The latest phase seems to be moaning about the lack of pace on the wings but then once we've got a few quicks in they will moan about the lack of skill or crossing as they did when dyer was playing.
  11. Would have him back as a reserves/youth coach tomorrow, we had some brilliant coaches at the end of our premier league era and I would welcome most of them back. If only we could convince Mr Prosts to live out his retirment at Staplewood.
  12. I'd be more woried about Jaidi seen as he's already been refused a permit once and I'm not sure what grounds we have for appeal.
  13. Everytime one of our sigings is surrounded by hype they turn out to be a disapointment you only have to look at Rudi, Anders Svensson and Delgado for more evidence. Hope this guy proves us wrong but I won't be clicking buy on my Shirt with number 9 and Waigo on it just yet.
  14. No mention of a work permit on the OS so I assume he has an Italian passport and we won't have to bother about such things, he has lived there 10 years so it seems likely. Potentially a quality signing and should definately offer the pace we've all been craving.
  15. He looked brilliant for us in pre-season and I had high hopes only to be disapointed by his amazing pie eating ability. Still think he would do a decent job at this level if motivated and kept away from the lard.
  16. Given the huge success of South American players in the red and white stripes of saints I say no no and thrice no.
  17. He's not Jordan he runs a couple of businesses why would his face be plastered all over the net he's not particularly famous? I'd be quite happy if that is the only picture we ever see of him and he just quietly gets on with running the club, publicity seaking attention whores have had a slightly detrimental effect on our club before.
  18. looks like he'll be playing against Bournmouth http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1719443,00.html how about a little support for him?
  19. Never thought I'd see the day we were celebrating Kelvin signing a new contract after the game at Sheffield Wednesday the season before last. A remarkable turnaround and while i'm sure he's still earning plenty more than most of us I have to respect him for turning down big bucks to sit on the bench in favour of first team football and keeping his family settled.
  20. Adam, just in case you do read this site ignore all the idiots slagging you off and please stay!
  21. Kelvin? unusual but I like it!
  22. Thats a statement of intent as I'm betting he didn't come cheap, would love to see Stern put pen to paper in the next day or two and really want to see young fish signed up.
  23. It will still be flybe and umbro this season as the Football club has contracts with both companies.
  24. I'm not going to believe that unless someone official actually comes out and says it, there is absolutely no reason that the buyer couldn't just take over the mortgage payments on the ground and carry on as before. If they have paid the reported 12-15 million then Norwich Union have taken a massive loss on the stadium which seems highly unlikely.
  25. I hate yellow kits
