Thanks a lot Pinnacle...

That s the worrying thing. The last three weeks would have been for nothing if they don't tie this thing up over the next 72 hrs.

If the Pinnicle thing was never going to happen in the first place alot of people have got alot of explaining to do!!

Matty, Lynham, Fry the FL. None of you are exempt

The rats leaving the sinking ship... Is it just me or given the amount of wages these twonks have had, they owe us a bit of grace? If on a free they have choices anyway and can wait a bit as some clubs will want to leave it a bit later to sign new players anyway to avoid paying wages...

Fook me another 'fan' looking to blame the one person who, if it were not for his actions, would have seen our club languishing in the third division 10 years ago, strange the thought processes of some, even stranger you put his name ahead of so many others in the blame game !

Here we go..take the brace position one and all....

Thanks a lot Pinnacle...

God you really have to despair with some people on here. Thanks a lot Pinnacle, for being the only ones with even a sniff of a chance of saving this club from extinction. When will some of you wake up and realise that without Pinnacle there is no Southampton, and that is thanks to 2 people, Rupert Lowe and Mike Wilde.

BWP and Saga leaving, so what, Saga was going anyway and BWP is ****. There are bigger things happening than a couple of crap players leaving the Club.

Yes, well Pinnacle seem to have led us all up a merry path over the last 3-4 weeks - so they don't have any responsibility in all this????

All I have been asking for is clarity from Pinnacle - if there backers have ridden off into the sunset, then fine - don't try to blag your way through it by dropping little hints if the final reality is completely different.

I'll be the first to crack open a bottle if they complete - yet if they want clarity and transparency they need to realise after all the sh1te we've been put through...we just need some HONESTY for once.

Misleading one of our team's icons would not go down well either...

Sorry if that upsets you Vectis, but I'm mightily p1ssed off right now about this - it feels like Wilde all over again - just on Fast Forward.

Why do they owe you clarity and transparency? They are doing their best in an awful situation to save this club from extinction, we don't need clarity and transparency right now, what we need is cool heads concluding this deal, which as far as I can see is still possible, although less likely than I would personally like. There is no other deal, if Pinnacle had not been around we would have been dead 4 weeks ago. I guess maybe that would have saved our sanity a little, but at least they are trying which is more than you can say for anyone else. But there, bright people like you think its cool to diss them and pretend there is an alternative. In fact TL has been as open as anyone could be in this situation, possibly a little more than he should have been, but some of that is clearly being brought on by knuckleheads emailing him, texting him and generally ****ing him off. Meanwhile he tries his best to keep people in the loop and gets insults in return. P have not "led us a merry dance" they have stumped up about a million quids as far as I know, do you really really think they did that just to **** off you and your mates? FFS, some people need to take a reality pill and get off people's cases. This time next week we will either have Pinnacle in charge or we will have ceased to exist, we will be pushing up daisies, bereft of lfe.

But now we know the details of the backer,do we want Pinnacle to tie it up?

As for BWP and Saganowski,I really don't care if I never see either in a Saints shirt again. They can both F^ck Off.

Why? What has Saga done in the last 2 years to justify the wages he clearly thinks he is worth?

Well, he's shown he's a quality player who can score in a decent side. He's in the Polish national team for a reason, I reckon international football stacks up pretty well compared to L1.

Just a little comedy sketch I've been working on;

man walks into club.

man says I garentee you'll get paid.

how so say the players?

watch me says the man.

a couple of days pass (I'll have a little caption come up)

player gets shiny new contract at other club.

PS - I am very drunk.

Would you pay the wages he would clearly expect in League 1. To my mind what he delivers for Poland is irrelevant (actually, not that much there either) - he has delivered little for us over the past couple of years. It's not that I think he is not capable but, to me, he is a player who operates within his comfort zone. You only see something from him when he has something to gain from it. I suspect my judgement might be confirmed by the fact that he will still be around at the start of the season - that is, if we are still around.

He's as good as any CCC striker when he is in a decent side and has confidence. To me that suggests get a decent manager who can give him both, to others it suggests get rid of him and hope White and Paterson come up with the goods.

I do have to laugh at supporters of a Third Division football team saying, "yeah his national team and Champions League record isn't all that. We should get rid of him.

I'm not saying Saga will stay, but if he did and wanted to be here, he COULD be an absolute phenomenon in L1. As for wages, I'd take him over 2 Paul Wottons or 1 Jason Euell any day.

not done on purpose, just feel that we are not being told the whole truth thats all. Matty wasandstill is my footballing hero - but that does not make him exempt from being responsible for bad desicions. He put his name to Pinnicle therfore is responsible for their actions.

I would love for Matt to be senior fugure head of this club, I have thought for along time that Matt shoulud have been more apreciated maybe a stand named after him?

But just because he is Matt Le tissier does not make him untouchable. But I think you missed the main point and to be honest I can't be bothered to explain.

have a good week end

Just to add what I know about Drew Surman to date (as at yesterday)

Before the Pinnacle exclusivity Drew was approached by the club and told he might have to be sold to cover wages. Two clubs had shown real interest being Wolves & Sheffield Utd.

Drew was asked if he would speak to Sheff Utd if necessary. He has received calls from Saints since asking if he was prepared to go if necessary but then he has heard nothing since.

He wants to play for Saints still but is prepared to accept the reality of needing to move on if it is in the best interest of the club.

Let's hope the club future is resolved soon.

As for Davis, he would love to stay and has just bought a new house here. He is settled but like a few others he is out of contract on Wednesday morning.

It would be nice to keep some of the younger players but with a 5 year plan for return to the PL not many of the current squad will be around at the end anyway - some people you get 2-3 years at their peak and then they either need a change or their form falls away. It will be interesting to see who become the new heroes if we survive the next few days.
