Southampton deal still on, insists Fialka

The Jewish Chronicle is weekly, so it could be out of date with the interview from a couple of days ago to go into the print edition then replicated online, but they do look like new quotes.

I think its dead.

so he says it is all about another extra 5 points.

Which is interesting because I haven't seen any previous reference to extra points by either the administrator or anyone else for that matter.

I really don't know who the bull****ters are here. I do think MLT has been let down badly by someone, and the chances are that Tony Lynam may have been too, or not as the case may be.

As far as Pinnacle goes, they have long since come their duff and missed their bellies.

Any further suggestion of this group being involved at any level with our club will be met by choruses of "**** off".

Apart from MLT of course who is most welcome any time and who, imo, conducted himself with great dignity throughout the whole fiasco

Yes, he lost on the 18th hole yesterday and took it rather well. Good sport. ;)

As we suspected, its about additional points deductions, meaning the FL lied (or were economical with the truth)in their rebuttal of Pinnacle's pull-out.

Quelle Surprise

I take it you still think Fialka is a multimillionaire then?

Alpine in "believing the last thing he reads" shocker. Pretty sure you were slagging Pinnacle off five minutes ago.

Agreed....they had their chance,excuses excuses.....

Fialka keep your Jewish money....

Just to be clear, I take it the heritage of the money and its holder isn't the issue here..? That sentence works quite well without the word 'Jewish' in it.

or Fialka is lying?

Why ?

Let's face it, what he has been quoted as saying fits with what many of us have suspected since the exclusivity dealine passed and with the League's M.O., that the FL dont only want us to surrender our right to appeal, they want us to bend over and take the rest of their "medicine" up the arse.

well said that man.

(FIW; we Jews do tend to keep OUR money to ourselves and just use the normal stuff the rest of you use for playing with).

Alpine, I was going to post a witty and thoughtful rejoinder to your post, but I pondered a few seconds and thought, "F*** it" and came up with this, instead.

Mate, you're a total mug...

You're now on ignore until further notice. You have been warned...

"Southampton deal still on", insists Fialka from his mum's garden shed, taking a break from playing League3 Manager on his Playstation, balanced on a box of her shop's stock of 36B brassieres.

How can anyone pay any heed to anything this mong has to say.

What I still do not get at all is that Fry said he was sure Pinnacle had the funds, when it really doesn't seem as if he knew anything about the so-called backers at all, so could not have made his statement armed with any real knowledge whatsoever. Next time you want a brewery in which to hold a p*ss up, you know who not to ask to find you one.

Having read the article again, I am convinced this is old news dressed up as new and is out of date as of yesterday.

Article says last updated 12:21pm Jul 1st so who knows??

Could taking this to the absolute wire in order to force a rock bottom price have been Pinnacles strategy (or their backers at least) from the very off ??? FL is just a convenient excuse to keep on stalling??

Guess we'll find out very soon.

To be fair Alps has stated a few times he thinks the Pinnacle bid is full of .... but it doesnt mean the FL are squeeky clean.

Dont think him being on ignore will be too damaging either lol

Ask yourself this question mate

What difference would having -10 or -15 points have to someone wanting to pay millions and millions of pounds to buy a business? How would that effect their return? It would make no difference at all. The line they used about caring for the club and it's fans also does not fit into it because how does that effect us? It doesn't.

The truth is people with millions who wish to buy a company do so for one reason and one reason alone, to make money. Having an additional 5 points would not have a negative impact on the ability to do that. Wasting time when the team needs sorting would be far more impactful on the finances. Rushed deals mean spending more money to try and catch up etc..

What we have here is a guy who is seriously deluded. He gives himself away in his remarks. Why would a multi-millionaire give someone 33% ownership of a company? If they were that good friends or he was that trusted in a circle of business men would they not offer him a job in one of their companies which in turn enabled him to afford to move out? The reality is the guy is a dreamer who is talking complete and utter bull****.

Both the Football League and Fry have basically painted a picture of a un-proffesional group who had no verification on their funds. They were asked to show that they could verify the funds and they pulled out after a week of having the contract. Coincidence?

There was no money and there was no backers. They made it up in the hope someone would take interest of seeing both his and Tony's name in the press and invest in the group. They tried to delay and delay as much time as possible by talking about problems with the football league which did not excist. Eventually they were found out.

What is not clear though is if he meant an extra 5 or extra 15. Just the 5 and the 5 year plan is still achievable IMO but the extra 15 puts us at serious risk of another relegation or much higher spending on players that can make those extra points up.

So if its an extra 15 then that seriously changes the ability to make money on the investment so anyone wishing to spend 15 mill is well within there rights to have a second thought or 2.

Er, yes, well I wasn't going to mention his interview on Monday which was also on the golf course, but then he wasn't negotiating, he was to be the new face of SFC to get the fans onside

Fialka on the other hand can just fialka right off

I am also not 100% clear if he is referring to -15 under the -10 or an extra -5.

As has been said, it may impact his mid-term plan for the club in such a way as it means funding us for longer than he is willing to, or can afford.

As has also been mentioned, GMs response to my post is pathetic and childish.

The FL said in their response "To proceed, all it needed to do was to provide clarification in regard to funding and sign the contract". Which leads me to believe the points scenario had been resolved. The FL say that they had to waiver the right to appeal sporting sanctions. The sporting sanctions were the minus 10. For more to be added would mean we would have had to broke other rules which we have not. If i remember right we have not signed a CVA. If we did sign one and we come out of admin only to go back into admin a month later then naturally we would get more points put on for breaking the CVA agreement. It is all buts and ifs. If the group really did have the money and really did take it serious then they would not be investing money with the thought we will be back in admin anytime soon. Which again from a business view just makes me believe more then ever they had no real plans nor any real money, they used the deduction issue as the excuse to get out of it as i predicted the momment it was raised.

What makes me wonder even more is where has this "we will get more points deducted" thing come from? Who has said that will happen? The Football League or the guys who kept telling us the deal would be done today for weeks?

As I stated aove there is no -15 according to the new ECHO update therefore the man is a LIAR and should be given no further air time

Because The Echo is such a bastion of good reporting it must be true.
