Solent it is not the swiss in mail

Solent said the report in the Daily Mail is not quite correct.

They went onto say that they (Sports editor of Solent) have personally spoken to the Swiss Group.

The Swiss Group is backed by a billionaire member of the Swiss Liebherr family, however it is not the brother and sister who head the international conglomerate.

Solent stated this is still very good news.

They have made good progress but there are still a few issues to be sorted out.

Solent were questioning why, with a member of the world famous and wealthy Liebherr family trying to buy the club, did Pinnacle get exclusivity.

That could actually be VERY good news.

Let's face it, if it is a family member they may not be so hands on with running the successful company and may well be simply a rich person with more wealth than sense and a lot of time on their hands..

Right, finished on Solent, tried to type live as they were reporting.

The Solent sports editor has spoken personally with the Swiss, it is not the brother and sister who head the group, nor the company as a whole (as reported in mail) but a rich member of the family. It is still very good news. It is not done deal as few issues still to be sorted out.

They are questioning why Pinnacle got close in comparison.

That is something I would like to know too! If there was no substance there how come they wasted so much prescious time. Perhaps Mr Fry would like to explain?

How big an issue is this for them ? Just a bit of wounded pride or baffled amusement? If it is an issue, Fry and Pinnacle have got some real questions to answer...

No matter how much money is coming our way , or not , the Season is not far off and players are leaving left right and centre and we need stablility to build a team that will fight us out of the -10 and hopfully make the playoffs - with each passing day/week that looks less likley to me

They said there were still issues that needed resolving from both the administrator and the FL, but only small issues, although its not a done deal yet things can go wrong sometimes.

Doesn't look like its going to happen today.

Yes SOG, I am also wondering how Pinnacle was considered the best deal, particularly for the creditors. Pinnacle could only have been the best deal if the funds were clearly there and of that there would appear to be doubt.

Talk for your self I hope to see out this month

yes as do i but can you honestly say that this swiss lot or whoever, given our track record of bad luck will take us over by the end of the month? The league are bound to come up with another little gem, just to set an example!

Not sure why he or she would have needed to have heard of them before last week in order to post a pretty valid query now. Does it matter?

Actually they said a member of the billionaire family. Not quite the same as a billionaire member of...

Could be a bit like getting Jermaine Jackson to headline your concert when you were expecting Michael.

Still better than Barnet-live-with-mum-man though!

I think we can be clear about one thing - subject to confirmation something will be announced within the next day or several weeks leading to some outcome that will be either positive or negative in the medium to long term given the circumstances and subject to FL approval and one or two other things still being cleared up.

btw, I am not ITK - some of the above is merely based on speculation... but with the evidence that is now out in the public domain I think we can now at last be quite certain

I feel better about this then Pinnacle. No 'mystery' money man, no fancy yet ultimately meaningless communication with the fans, just reports that they are interested, loaded, and professional.

Until it goes through I will still think it too good to be true.

LOL

But I think you overlooked the short term, where we are certain that there are known unknowns, but suspect there are also unknown unknowns.

All too close to reality to be as funny as it should be.

Not all Swiss companies shuffle money or make drugs, some actually make things out of big lumps of metal (including mine too). This is something we are not really used to much in the UK any more.
