We've got what we deserved, at last.

We've played well in bursts this season but haven't been able to sustain it.

at last we've been dominant over a full 90mins and we've utterly blown away a top 10 team, there are plenty more teams in this league that are worse than rovers - so this result is fantastic.

That sounded like an excellent game.

Great result. Fonte and Barney notch their first for the club abd first for the season respectively; Lambo and Lallana also on the scoresheet; Guly sounded impressive in his short time on the pitch.

Plus, Poopy losy (again) and Bompey threw away a 3 goal lead. And, SainstPlayer worked trouble free for the entire match.

What a fantastic day!

Great result, particularly away from home. What some of you guys need to understand is that this game was prettym much the same as the plymouth and the Leyton game. We created many chances and allowed the opposition very few. This game we took our chances and we scored four of them. Remeber, our defence is impressive. Not allowing Bristol to score at home shows great organisation and concentration. Whether it's Fonte and jaidi, or Fonte and Martin, we are very good at the back.

Can we agree to get behind the team now. They are playing well, let's not moan and moan and moan when we play well but don;t get the result and start blaming Jaidi, hammond, puncheon, it was the same team today just about, ie, both Hammond and Puncheon played and we scored 4 goals, 2 of them without Lallana on the pitch, one without Lambert!

It's about time we accepted we have a good side and a good manager. 4 - 0 isn;t lucky, it's about playing well and good tactics, applied by the players!

Great result !!!!!

League wise we are certainly improving - lose, draw and then win in successive games - what next? Win by ever increasing goal margin :-)

..... and more players to come seemingly - life is good at the moment, so let's enjoy !

Hopefully Lallana not serious, he is probably our best player.

Great Lambo and Barney scored, Guly sounded sharp!

Happy for Pardew, the guy is a good manager - can't believe the stick he gets, we are obviously a good team, just need to find some consistency and we will move up the table....

About bloody time too. The season started three weeks ago. It's the preparation FFS, now after four hard games we get it together. I hope this is the last time we see silly mixture teams playing 45 mins at a time in meaningless matches. Barnet, Sutton, Eastleigh etc a total waste of preparation time. Plymouth, Leyton Orient, Bournemouth and Bolton and now we are finally competitive.

we have lift off!

yeah, but how much rocket fuel do we have? We should of beaten plymouth and leyton. No excuses. Still think we can do better. At the moment we are a mid-table team, not automatic promotion material. And August is now behind us. The season waits for no one. If we aren't in top two by start of November then changes must be made

TBF you can still think Pardew has quite a few faults as a manager but praise him and the team today. I am of that opinion but am dead happy this evening. Finally I can have a nice weekend! :)

Sat on the bingo bus outside the ground, what a game! Can honestly say thats the most one-sided away game ive ever been to,7-0 wouldn't have flattered us. Kelvin rarely troubled but for a blinding save in the first half that looked as if it'd gone in from where we were, and a hopeful lob that hit the bar in the 2nd. Fonte was immense, another solid performance by Martin too. Endless running by Barnard again, deserved his goal. Rickie still looked a bit out of sorts again, seems a bit behind on fitness. Onwards and upwards hopefully!
