Will also be able to add Wales to that list next season!

England, Scotland, Wales, Irish Republic, Italy, San Marino, Vatican City, France, Belgium, Holland, all the Channel Islands, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Greece, Croatia, US, Canada, Hong Kong.

A pretty poor record really, but I plead poverty plus when I was employed my holiday of choice was skiing. It might have been different if dad had helped me get a job with BA! Never been to Spain, which is surprising. I fancy doing a bit of long distance sailing so perhaps could add a few that way.

Anyone else been to Albania?

I did a European tour last year which was 6000 miles and took in 13 countries and am planning on going again next year and going to a few more that I haven't visited.

Albania, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Greece then up through Bulgaria and Romania again to Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus and Poland.

That's in the stratosphere, but I don't think that counts as space. What were you in, a Mig 25?

Not even close apparently, had no idea what the actual altitude was of space....

For starters, astronauts can say they've been to space after only passing the 50-mile mark (80 kilometers, 264,000 feet). NASA awards its astronaut wings to any individual reaching that altitude.

Meanwhile the boundary recognized by many in the space industry is the Karman line at a somewhat arbitrary 62.137 miles (100 kilometers).

So just another 254000 feet to go :(
