Man city with some nice words

They seem to have forgotten they were a mid table nowhere club before the Arabs arrived - just like Chelsea before the Russians arrived. And just like Chelsea fans they've gone all big time Charlie very quickly!

Mainly about how they played, missed chances awful penalty and should of been out of sight before we got back in to it, no mention of the off side goal from what I read (could of missed it)

Some comments about how we played, did well should be ok, hope they beat the rags. (utd I guess) then descended in to saying all our fans were booing Aguero as he was being stretchered off round the pitch - if true hang your head in shame people, that said cannot believe that would be the case but was not there so views of those that were may shed a truer picture.

I would guess people originally booed him, then they clapped him when he got stretchered off. They're a bunch I tossers on that forum anyway, acting like they have a god given right to win very game and very reluctant to praise us, and a few of them saying we look like we'll go down. How can they say that when we pretty much matched them all game?!

From what I could gather on the TV, some fans were booing because he was down for ages and then got up and walked off the pitch.

Not all of them cheering when aguero got injured hope you get relagated you c...ts nice

That'll be the moral high ground taken by a set of fans who have been singing gloating songs about a fatal plane crash for forty odd years.

Nonsense. Most of them will not be aware of football before 1992 and Sky television.

Eh? You don't need to be a football historian to sing the Munich runway song, which City fans have been singing for a long time since 1992.

You are assuming they are not plastics. When a team starts looking dominant they swarm like flies around s***.

You do realise City were getting 30k gates in league one? And, err, our home gates will remarkably shoot up to full houses for this season. Flies round the proverbial, you could say.

You could see he was genuinely in a lot of pain. No problems seeing him walk off the pitch but it would be a different matter if he'd been able to continue playing.

Didn't think much of the atmosphere. I always though Citeh fans were pretty good at creating one, but there were long spells you could hear a pin drop (well that's how it came across on TV anyway). Disappointed to see they've turned into prawn sandwich eating mutes (unitl they scored)

Always rated City fans in the past. A decent, proper set of fans.

Though with the success they've had, they've got some right muggy little w*nkers that have come crawling out the woodwork. Plenty of day trippers with their megastore bags, snapping away with their DSLR camera's outside the ground.

Seems they've become everything they spent decades mocking Man Utd for. Shame...

Spoke to several City fans on way back to the station, in the pub and on train back to London and all were very complimentary about our performance, but you'll always get some idiots on website

As for Aguero some saints fans did give him stick as he was being carried off, but the majority where I was applauded him

To be fair, they've supported their team through thick and thin. They've just turned a bit w*nky now they're loaded.

By and large Citeh fans are the same as any other group of fans. They hunker up when the going's tough and start giving it the large one when they do well!!

There were a few nobheads booing him for "feigning injury" whilst he was being carried past the away fans on a stretcher, yes. You do have to wonder how stupid some people are. He was rightfully booed whilst limping off the pitch having faffed about for 4 minutes because everyone assumed he'd been putting it on. To carry it on when he's actually back on the stretcher and clearly IS injured just proves how many sheep-like simpletons there are around.

We were "shhhhhhhhhhh"ing from kick off until they scored. We were even singing "sing when you're winning" before they were winning.

Yeah, but there were also some booing when he was carried past us on a stretcher. Duhhhhhhhh.

Plenty of very gobby City to our left who seemed to have more interest in trying to goad Saints fans when they scored than actually celebrate themselves. Having said that chatted to plenty of very sound City fans before and after, can't imagine doing the same when playing United.
