whelk Posted October 6 Author Posted October 6 (edited) Sky reporters saying it’s a big talking point right now - that being is Shearer or Haaland the best CF PL has ever seen? Shut up you twats it’s only your scouse gobshite Carragher hyping up and talking nonsense that is all. No other cunt is discussing it. oh yeah is Harry Styles a better song writer than Paul McCartney? Edited October 6 by whelk 1
Gloucester Saint Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Other sports using the Americanism ‘Three Peat’ instead of hat-trick https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/articles/cpqlvg1pjy4o What’s wrong with hat-trick? Is it a banned phrase now? Mind you, love to use either in association with a Saints player doing three of anything! Unless it’s own goals.

By the way, Rooney has a been podcast which is in no way being mined for cross pollinating clicks.
badgerx16 Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Based on TV adverts, why is the "#1 toothpaste recommended by dentists" not the same brand that is the "#1 toothpaste used by dentists" ?
Weston Super Saint Posted October 11 Posted October 11 BBC reporting. Again. FFS, if you're going to get someone to report on athletics at least get someone who has some common sense, even if they don't know much about athletics. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/athletics/articles/cy858nqqxwqo Quote The event also attracted some of the sport's biggest names, as Kenya's three-time Olympic gold medallist and world record holder Faith Kipyegon won the mile, crossing the finish line in four hours 17.78 minutes. Even I could beat that time for the mile. By a long way.
Lighthouse Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Another driving one; on a smart motorway, following another car doing just under 70. As we’re approaching a gantry, a car speeding on the opposite carriageway gets flashed by the camera. The car in front brakes and slows to just under 60. Why? For the love of Christ, what mental process led to that decision?!

Twats.

badgerx16 Posted October 24 Posted October 24 (edited) ( I think I need to start a thread purely for sniping at the BBC )....... There is an article about a painting of a black cavalryman, named as Thomas James from Montserrat, who served in Wellington's army at Waterloo as part of the 18th Light Dragoons. The article states that the 18th were "the only cavalry regiment to play a significsnt part in the battle". Pure unadulterated tosh. There were more than 16 thousand mounted troops in Wellington's army, yet only 1 regiment of a couple of hundred played an important role ? Was the charge of the Union Brigade, ( the Royals, Scots Greys, and Iniskillings ), that totally destroyed D'Erlon's corps and captured 2 Eagles not a "significant" event ? Where do they find their reseachers ? Edited October 24 by badgerx16 1

Lee On Solent Saint Posted Tuesday at 09:46 Posted Tuesday at 09:46 Airport parking. Why is it necessary to move every mirror, steering wheel height and seat to park a car a few feet away from where you leave it? Places must purposely hire the shortest workers in the world.
