Will there be a third 9-0?.........judging by the comments following the opening day defeat,(the highlights ive yet to watch),could we get demolished yet again or

close to being embarrassed again? .For all the transfer activity or lack of strengthening that we still need to do, are we going to be strong enough to stop teams scoring so easy?

Still early on obviously but with the big teams seemingly getting off to flyers we could be left struggling yet again, but hopefully not. COYS.

We will get a few hammerings for sure. Obviously the 9-0s were stand outs but Man City could easily have smashed us by more than 5, didn’t Spurs have 2 or 3 goals disallowed before they put 5 past us at home? Even Leeds away looked like they were going to score every time they attacked when we lost 3-0 up there. We leak goals and unless something is done to stop them we can fully expect another season of throwing away leads, lots of goals conceded and a few thrashings

Absolutely it’s a possibility. The starting 11 is weaker now then last season, don’t care what anyone says. Quite the achievement, even by our low standards.

Two of our next three away games are at Man City and Chelsea, some early candidates for this year's thrashing there.

At least we can get Pep's  ''They're the best team we've ever faced and managed to thrash'' comments out of the way early.

That was an old Fergie trick too. To ass kiss us after beating us. Keeps us nice and subservient for the next time.

Never mind 9. If we concede 6 or more in a game Ralph has to go. It would just show that he has not learnt from his repeated mistakes and doesnt know how to shut up shop. Must be an ego thing that he continues to play the same open style even when we're getting hammered. Even league two teams would be able to stop the bleeding at 5 by just digging in and making themselves hard to break down

And his little cuddle for Redmond, which compels Ralphie to pick him regardless of form.

Everytime we're dicked 9-0, I'm somehow reminded of the song "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)" by The Offspring.

The lyrics go like this: "Give it to me baby, uh huh uh huh, give it to me baby, uh huh uh huh..."

It doesn't help that the song actually begins with the German-sounding words "Gunter glieben glauten globen" which reminds me of Hasenhuttl.
